Fun Family Day!!!

Today turned out to be a treat for us. My parents love to take drives in their convertible and so with such gorgeous weather and beautiful fall foliage, they decided to drive up today. Along with them, Luke and his sweet girlfriend, Brooklyn, decided to come up and go to the game and stay the night us with. We grabbed a delicious lunch on the balcony at Hog Haus and then went to Pack Rat to look around and visited at our home before mom and dad left to drive back home.

This evening we went to a PUMPKIN PATCH, photos to come. It's my first time to ever go to one and I really enjoyed it. We grabbed some ice cream and then came home to be comfy and warm to watch the game. We are having a lovely, relaxing evening after a bust busy week!!! So excited the clocks fall back, it's like the best night of sleep ever! I love it! even with the dread of winter to come :(

LOVING CHOICES

Mission

Loving Choices Pregnancy Centers of NWA is here to provide outstanding counseling and limited medical services to you as you might be facing a crisis in your reproductive health, such as an unplanned pregnancy or a sexually transmitted disease.
We give unconditional care to preserve and protect human life so that you, our client, can find hope.

Last night Jordan and I went to a banquet in support of the outreach ministry of Loving Choices. There were over 800 people that filled the banquet room to learn how they can make a difference in the lives of girls, doctors, men, and this nation. There was a speaker who was a past abortionist and did it for about 20 years, aborted over 1200 babies and shared his testimony, along with his wife, about the impact this had in their lives and how devasting it is. He accepted Christ about 23 years ago after quitting his job and hasn't done an abortion yet. He gave the details of this process works and the depth of the emotional pain that is caused his whole family. It was interesting to have two sides to this story, it really broke my heart.

This ministry offers free ultrasounds because if a girl can get an ultrasound, they have a 95% chance of choosing to keep the baby. There are lots of families out there that want to adopt due to infertility and these are the babies that may change their lives. They also provide STD testing, counseling for girls, and want to start providing post abortion counseling for those who have choosen to have an abortion. We are to love and not cast any stone against anyone, therefore love those and help those who find themselves in this position.

I have a huge heart for this ministry and praying for girls, men, and abortion doctors. Pray for these doctors to stop doing what they are doing. Dr. Harrison is a doctor in Fayetteville that offers the service to abort a baby and I ask that you will add him to your prayers. Let's overwhelm his spirit with the power of God to stop this act and to eliminate the option by not having a doctor in the NWA area that would do this service.

This is a long blog, but something that I'm truly passionate about. This tugs at my heart so much and I want to invite you to pass on the prayers and even if you feel led to support this minsitry you can by $25.00 to buy an ultrasound or $10-$20 a month to buy lunches that they provide to girls in the clinic. Love to you all and have a blessed weekend, Amber

My Momma Came To Visit!!!!

My mom came up Friday afternoon to spend the night with us. When she got here we went out to the promenade and looked around and then met Jordan at Bonefish for an AMAZING dinner, that we are so thankful for mom!

Sat. morning mom and I got up and went for a workout, so proud of us! Afterwards we showered and relaxed till it was time for us to go get our bday facials. Gosh, we felt like new women! We had a delicious lunch at Hog Haus, getting our favorite salads before spending the afternoon together before she left. I always hate it when my mom leaves, but I know it won't be long till we get to hangout again. She is a great woman and we have a blast together!

My mom left here and met my dad in Russellville to watch Luke play flag football, he is in the state tour, Go LUKE! But while there they looked a car for my mom and she got her a new lexus! I'm so excited for my mom who has given so much to her family our whole lives gets to be spoiled now! I love it! Love you mom!

My new centerpiece that mom helped me put together, she is so good!

After our facials and before mom left. She got me that new wreath, I love it!

A JOB! A JOB! A JOB!!!!

PRAISE TO OUR LORD, JORDAN GOT A JOB!!!!

We are so thankful to our God in His provision for our family in providing Jordan a job today. He graduated from college in August and since then has been working so hard to get a job, such a hard thing to persevere through in this economy. We have learned so much about how God provides in unexpected ways. We have learned to understand that our money is a gift from above in His provision for us. We have learned to be more patient with one another than ever before and how to truly respect eachother in new ways. It's been a tough season at times and we are thankful, thankful, thankful to our King for opening this door through someone in our church family to give Jordan a chance.

Jordan a couple of weeks ago put a note with our church to pray for a job and our direction. A week later at church a man asked Jordan to come by and that he couldn't give him a pay job but if he made a sale he would pay him for that. So Monday Jordan went and really enjoyed the job and the people. Then they mention yesterday that they are impressed with his work efforts and are thinking about hiring him. So this morning they offered Jordan a job w a salary and commission! We are so excited and I'm so proud of the man I married. He has the best spirit and is so excited to work and his heart has grown so much through a season of perseverance. He is an amazing man to work hard when it seems others around judge for not having a job, when it's just hard. So with our excitement and rejoicing, we will continue and ask you all to join us to pray for all those without a job, it's so hard right now and we pray for their families and for more jobs to open up.

Thank you all our friends and family who have been praying with us through this season!
Thank you Lord for this opportunity!

My favorite "to go" cup

In the mornings I sent my coffee to make coffee at 6:05. I'm typically darting out the door anywhere between 6:30 and 6:45 and never before I grab a Chinet Cup and make my coffee of milk and sweet-n-low, yummy! Great way to start a morning at work in this AMAZING cup! So if you are a "to go" type person, give these a try!!! I'm so glad it's THURSDAY! My momma is coming for a visit tom and to get facials on Sat and I'm so glad she is coming to spend some time with us!

S'mores of the modern century

Yes S'mores were originally made for the betterment of a campfire, but in the new modern era S'mores are made on a grill! I have to say it's not as much fun as a campfire but it's quick and easy and gives you your fix! The Peters came over to grill steaks on our new grill and we made S'mores! Yummy!!!!

We have had a great week of visiting with friends and working hard at our new gym, we are loving it! Glad it's the downhill of the work week. My momma is coming for a visit and I'm so excited!!!!

Birthday Date and a New Grill!

This weekend Jordan took me on my 25th birthday date to James at the Mill. We would have gone last weekend but I had food poisoning and so we postponed our date. This was such a nice dinner and we had blast! I'm so thankful for a husband who loves me so much and came up with a great date place!

We also bought a grill this weekend and today, Sunday, while I cleaned the house, deeped cleaned! Jordan built his grill!!!! He did such a great job and we had a wonderful chicken and veggie supper w a smore dessert! Such a fun weekend together and lots of little things around the house got done!

He likes his hood too!

He sits down to eat his supper.

And he waits by the door to go out to sit with his tree.

Never thought I'd add this to my list...

Friday I left work early and was heading to meet Jordan at the gym when as I was turning to leave saw a red truck fly through the stop sign and hit this jeep and with my own eyes saw a car flip over. A moment of Grey's Anatomy rushed over me as I dailed 911 to get the ambulance there and ran across the road to check on the man in the car. Me and two nurses who were driving ran to the jeep and watched the man crawl out. I feel like I've seen a real miracle, he should not have been able to do this. Anyhow, never thought I'd add to my list of life experiences: Car flipping over.

That evening we went to Logan's game and watched him to a victory for CAC! It was freezing but so much fun! Kendyl came down last weekend and I hadn't had a chance to add the newest Wright Family Photo, everyone looks great, I love my family!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM & FAC

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY WONDERFUL MOM! This woman is amazing and I'm so thankful for the many years of love and support that she has given to our family. She has poured her heart into her family and friends and I'm so thankful for her. She is coming to visit me and have girls' weekend and facials for our birthdays! Love you mom!!!

This week Jordan and I took a free coupon that FAC-Fayetteville Athletic Club, was offering to try the gym and we have gone everyday and loved it! It's Friday and we are making it a priority to meet eachother at the gym right when I get off work. I'm really proud of us and think we will join. It's nice because you can pay month by month so we have said that if we don't use it we will lose it!
There is a sidewalk cafe called Camilles that is amazing!!! So we have quickly developed the habit of working out and then going there to eat supper. It's salads, sandwiches, and wraps.
We have had a great week and are loving our new routine. Tonight we get to go watch Logan play football and then tomorrow we are going to eat supper for a late bday dinner for me at James at the Mill, we both have never been so we are excited to try it!
HAPPY FRIDAY! :)

My 25th Birthday Celebration Continues!

My 25th Birthday was this past Tuesday and it was PERFECT!!! I woke up and went to work and Jordan surprised me with Jason's Deli, my favorite place to eat for lunch! Then my parents sent me flowers at work, loved it! They have always sent flowers to school, work, KKG House, really anywhere, they send them and it's one of my favorite things to get!

My husband made me my favorite dinner, pot roast, and baked me a cake. He got me Mello, who is the best puppy of all time! He also picked up for me an antique oil and vinegar set that looks awesome. He got me a gift certificate to the antique store so we could have a date and go shop! We were planning on having a nice birthday dinner out on the town this past Friday but due to me getting food poisoning from Arby's that part got post-poned till next weekend, so the birthday celebration continues!

My Wright family came in town this weekend for the game and my Wright Mom had the sweetest idea to order me a Rick's Bakery cake for all of us to celebrate, so thoughtful and so yummy! :) I had a lovely bday and all day at work my old people reminded me that I am still just a kid and that they can't remember what they did, so I better take note! So here's to being 25!!!!!

oh how I love my pot roast, my grandma would be proud!
playing with Mello, this is an action shot-lovely!
These 2 sweet girls, Molly and Julie, came over to bring me a cute little cake to celebrate with me. I love them so much and have loved getting to spend time with them for the past year. These are 2 amazing women that God will use in great ways for His Kingdom!!!
Mello made it up the stairs for the first time on my birthday! I was talking to Jill and up he went, it was so funny, but way to go Mello! Now we just need to teach him how to get down. He goes up and can't come down, so he whines at the top :(

Dallas to celebrate the Big 25!!!!

My birthday celebration began last Thursday Oct. 1st with a lovely dinner with my family in Conway at Mike's place. They got me some yummy Maggie's Cookies and a Coach Purse for the fall season, it's great! My Wright family gave me money for my Dallas trip with my girlfriends, love love love them! I'm so grateful for two great families that care to celebrate my birthday.

This year my best friends and I will be turning 25 and when we turned 21 we went to New York for New Year's and so for 25 and us all paying our ways, we went to Dallas and stayed for free with Marietta's grandparents, funny how things change when we all are spending our few pennies!

So Friday Meg, Marietta and I drove to Dallas to eat lunch with Drewa and Poppa before picking up Ali from the airport. When we all got together you would never know we live in 4 different cities, I love these girls! We went to dinner at Nobu, had trouble exiting the parking lot-because it closed-what parking lot closes??? So Ali and I got out and moved a cord to get us out of there! Sat. we woke up to go workout around Dallas White Rock Lake and it was GORGEOUS!!!! I was so HAPPY, just simply, pleasantly happy walking and talking with my best friends, a feeling and activity I wish I could do more often with them. We celebrated Birthdays with Poppa's bday cake he made for us. Drewa made us each our own Recipe box, so sweet! We went shopping later that afternoon then went to dinner before going to see Mary Poppins, I love this movie and the Broadway show came to Dallas and I loved it! Sunday we all woke up and headed on our separate paths :(

I'm so thankful for Drewa and Poppa as I don't have any grandparents anymore and it was great to be spoiled! Also, I couldn't ask for a more amazing group of women to add love and laughter to my life! They truly have been a blessing through over half my life now and will continue I'm sure of it! You girls are SO special to me and I think you each are so beautiful :)

And if you are thinking I'm that wife to just leave my husband to have fun, nope...he went to Tunica with his buddies all weekend. He played golf and won $1000, really he did! So he enjoyed himself so much and neither one of these trips could have happened without my parents lovingly wanting to watch Mello for us. They had the best time hanging out with him and we are both so thankful for their willingness to help us out! Thanks so much Mom and Dad, love you!
