Cooper's new toy

Cooper loves his little bugs on his car seat and all the things we have for him to sit in seem to lean him far back so Nana bought a bouncee seat and man he loves it! We got all kinds of things before he was born and this is an unexpected favorite of his!

Dad went to the game so we watched it at Nana's and Poppa Joe's house

This evening he took a big bath in the laundry room sink. He didn't cry but was trying to figure what was going on. Poppa Joe and him just chatted away!

This morning we had Starbucks, chick fil a, and a trip to target! I got to visit with my sweet friend Erin who just had her second child, Corey. So fun to see her! I got to work on a craft and go to hobby lobby. Ive eaten at all my favorite Conway places: Brick Oven Pizza, Panera, Stoby's and look forward to ZaZa's tomorrow with Meg and Brody, after church.

Dad gets home tomorrow and we can't wait! We have missed him so much.

Cooper's 2 month shots

Today was a big day for my big guy! His first round of shots and he was a trooper!!!! He weighs 13.6 lbs, 23.5 in long: 75th percentile for both :)

See his little bandaids :(

-
Mello brought him his toys to feel better :)

He gave a good cry but beyond that did great. I'm so thankful as a mom to have the resources to give these to my child for his protection from these diseases. I watch the measles outbreak in Somalia and pray for them and grow in thankfulness!

Weekend in review

We had a wonderful weekend at home. Yesterday we got to go celebrate Reese Walker's 1st Birthday!!! This party was absolutely beautiful and so special to celebrate with this family!

After the party Cooper got to spend the afternoon with Nana and Poppa Joe. I watched the game from home while Jordan went.

Jordan and Joe had an awesome tailgate, way to go boys!

Today we had a great morning at church and Cooper did great! This afternoon was full of naps and relaxing. Jordan hasn't felt well and has slept most the day!
Poor guy that's not normal at all!!!
Fell straight to sleep after filling his belly :)

I'm anxiously waiting for Corey Conner to be born sometime today or tomorrow! I get to go visit with Stephanie tomorrow-Garrison will be here in just a few short weeks! Fun week ahead!

My favorite pic from the weekend of my little fella:

Oh the love I have for him is unexplainable! It's my greatest joy in life just taking care of him. I really love having our family and having so much fun with simple things in life!

My 2 Month Memories!

The second month has come and gone so swiftly! Things continue to get better and better as I learn more about Cooper. He has started to grin when we talk to him and oh I just love it. He has started to really "talk" to the important things in life: fans, lights, and stuffed animals-it's cute.
-he weighs around 13lbs, we go to the doctor next Tues, so I'll know then. He has grown an inch and is now 22 in.
-he eats every 3 hours, but at night will go a 6-7 hour span. he has slept through the night twice and I'm wondering how to get that to happen more ! :) last night he took 7oz. from a bottle! most of the time he takes 5oz from a bottle so I'm assuming that's how much he nurses too.
-nursing is going great and is now easy, yeepie! lots of patience, pain and hard work has finally gotten me to this point that it's easy and pain free now.
-he does great in a car seat and on our long travels to central ar.
-he is wearing 3 month clothes:i've learned Gerber and Gymboree run small as their 3 months are snug. Lots of Carter's 3 months and I love Gap-they give the weights (I think), size 1 diapers
-we are using the sleep sacks and leaving your hands out now. You are beginning to move all over the crib. you love the mobile and things that dangle in front of you
-you love bath time and we do this every night to help with your night time routine
-you have your first cold/cough and all I can do make you mad by doing saline drops at every diaper change, you hate this.

**I understand these blogs are long and blah to most, but I will enjoy having some sort of memory and reference for the future. :)

this little boy giggles so much at his dad. Jordan will dance and sing and man does it make him light up. lots of fun to come for Cooper with his dad!

Play Group Thursday!

Today's play group was at my house. We had muffins, chicken salad and fruit. I learned how to make cute bows, even though I know very few little ladies but Jordan McEntire has trained me :)

Here is a pic of our chaos, I mean fun!!!

Little man is 2 months today, I'll do my memory post shortly :)

Laura's Family Goods

This is a newer place in Conway, Laura's Family Goods and I LOVE it! They have the best gifts and such educational, yet fun toys for kids. If you live in the area or go through there this store needs to be a stop for you! I got to go here Sat. along with the Kitchen Store, another favorite of mine!!!
