Baby boy's name!!!

I'm so excited to share that we have decided to name our little man:

Cooper Jordan Wright

I love his name. Jordan came up with it and I decided the middle name.

I love having his name picked so we can pray for him by name, it makes me so excited to add him to our family!

I've ordered his crib, changing table, bedding and a glider and now am just waiting on all the big stuff to come in! :)

A nice weekend with no big plans lies ahead for us. I'm enjoying these as much as I can, we start to get busy busy come mid march. :)

Let the games begin!

One of my favorite things about living in Fayetteville are the frequent visits we make to razorback BASEBALL games! I love the smells, sounds, and weather that come with baseball! Go Hogs!

Love from Poppa Joe!!!

My parents are crazy for their 1st grandson! My dad called right after he found out the baby was a boy and bought him this adorable stuffed animal! I can't wait for all the fun to come with this little one. I just love my dad so much and am excited to see him love on this little boy.

I have started working on picking out a glider and baby bedding, I'm just loving planning his little nursery!

My parents are coming up Sunday for a visit and I'm so excited to show them our DVD of baby boy. I love watching it :)

BABY BOY WRIGHT!!!

We got to see our baby on Wed. Feb. 16th for the 1st time. The anticipation to see him has been built up and we were just so thrilled for this moment. It was amazing to see his little spine, heart and his legs and arms move around. He even wiggled his little fingers and moved his mouth (a talker already). :) After trying to see the sex for a long time the tech. started banging around my belly and the little one moved so we could tell it was a BOY!
Joy, excitement and love fell over me. He was healthy and doing great and I couldn't be more happier. I just feel a new sense of happy and I praise God for the gift of this little one and for this pregnancy. Jordan started talking right away about sports, golf and fantasy sports, awesome. He is excited to have a little buddy to enjoy activities with in the future.
We called our families right away and then sent the photo above to our friends to share the news. I'm halfway there and just filled with so much to joy to add this little man to our family.

That evening we went to celebrate with a burger, my favorite! And then to target...

I bought him his 1st outfit and Jordan bought him his 1st set of Hot Wheel Cars.

I'm excited to be able to pray certain characteristic qualities over him and soon enough pray for him by name :)

Snow Day Play!

On our snow day we went over to the Rays and played outside with them. Joe's truck was the only vehicle I know of that could dominate the snow! It helped us all not to get cabin fever!

Here is our home in it's 1st big snow.
Me and the hubs
we buried Joe in the snow
me and elizabeth with the igloo that us and Jordan built together.
Jordan looking like he is picking up the igloo
then Jordan destroying the igloo.

Fun day with good friends. The sun is shining bright this morning and the weather looks like sunny and around 60's all week, my heart couldn't be more happy! We are having a nice weekend at home. Hope you all have a Happy Valentine's Day tomorrow!

2-4 inches turns into 18-24, AWESOME...

So last night I was rejoicing because we were only supposed to get 2-4 inches and I thought Central Arkansas would have more than us, but possibly not the case. The weather men were CRAZY wrong and it's snowing and snowing and snowing and I HATE it! I'm so ready to be able to do my normal routine and I want to be out in the sunshine! Here are some pics, all taken before 9:00 this morning.

Jordan tried to get out and see if he could get me to work, didn't happen.

My front garden, the snow is almost covering up my "W" sign completely.
And my amazing Valentine bought me these yesterday as an early Valentine's Day gift since I've been freezing in wet tennis shoe feet. These were made in Norway and are amazing, I LOVE them and so thoughtful of my wonderful husband!!!!

I'll post some pics later when it's all said and done, but at the moment it's still coming down like crazy.

Entry Way

I've been looking for a table to put in my entry way and Marietta found me one a few weeks ago! I've just taken stuff from around the house to put on it and need some wire to hang the mirror.

And I took a couple things out of the nursery and put them in our dining room,

Having fun with household projects till I get to work on our little one's room! I'm so excited to find out the sex!!!!!!! We love little baby Wright so much already! :)

More snow this week supposedly, not excited about that! But gorgeous weekend ahead, sunny and 50's whooo hooo!!!!

Murder Mystery Party

Back in October our community group took a trip to Branson for the weekend and we were supposed to have our murder mystery party while there, but sweet Asa decided to be born then and we postponed the party till this weekend.

We had the party at the Ray's house and Elizabeth even decorated so cute!

Everyone dressed 50's as it was our class reunion and you go around all night, in character, asking questions and trying to figure it out who was the killer.
We had 3 extra deaths on top of the one we were trying to solve. Eventually the detectives figured it out.

Jordan and Seth won Best Performance Awards
Seth won best costume award

Such a great night with lots of fun people! I'm so glad we were able to make this happen and spend time together.

Dining Room Decor!!

Well it has taken me officially almost a year to get my dining room complete but it has been done. With our little one on the way my house projects have become a little more urgent to complete, and this was my 1st one to cross off....here are pics. Before we just had the table and chairs.

I found the best bargains at hobby lobby today. I had the mirror from college and love it here.

Table decor and the other side are mustard candlestick holders.

I got the plates from hobby lobby for $5 a piece when I'd been wanting a set like them from pottery barn for 4 plates for $50, I feel proud of my deal! The plate holders were my grandma's, I loved that woman and her ability to create a comfy home environment!

This was my weekend project. I hope to be able to work on my entry way and curtains at some point before I completely tackle the nursery!!!

Snow Day Fun!

Today the weather started out with sleet and ice and just continued with snow, snow, snow and more snow. Jordan and I thought it best for me not to chance getting to work and so I stayed home, which usually doesn't happen on a snow day. But I'm glad I did and we had such a fun, relaxing day!

This past weekend I picked up my buffet in Conway and so we got to put that in our dining room, thanks to Joe's help. I filled this with lots of platters and all my table linens. This weekend I hope to work on the decor on it and put a mirror I have above it.
My mom had these plate holders that were my grandma's and I thought they would go great on the side of the window. I put the blue plates to match my winter table linens.

My husband planned a Snow Date of cookie making....so much fun!

He wrote me a sweet love note...

And of course..

After a busy weekend this day was lovely! I took a bath, a long nap and have just piddled around the house. Back to the grind tomorrow, but thankful for today.
