Cooper's Baby Dedication!!!

Today was such a special day for our family. We did Cooper's dedication at our church that we will raise him to love, follow and serve Jesus Christ. We prayed over this baby and ask God's hands to always govern his path and to keep them straight. Our scripture for Cooper is Proverbs 3:1-4

1 My son, do not forget my teaching,
but keep my commands in your heart,
2 for they will prolong your life many years
and bring you peace and prosperity.
 3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
   bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
4 Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man.

After Church our families and friends came over for a wonderful lunch made by my husband, a cake made by Briar Rose, and lots of fun! We are a family that desires to always celebrate milestones in our lives and this is a big one for Cooper, second to his confession of his own faith and baptism that I pray for some day! We are grateful for the blessings of family and friends that rejoice when we rejoice. It was a perfect, beautiful day to give God the glory for this baby boy!

Jordan introduced our family, read his scripture and then the babies got prayed over and Cooper squirmed and chatted the WHOLE time!

Thankful Uncle Luke could come and represent the next group of people so important to Cooper: his aunt and uncles! You guys have such a special role to love him so much that it leads him to Christ and teach him all you know!
All of our friends who came, nice photo....wondering where Cooper is....SLEEPING! he snoozed the whole party

But now we are up and Garrison and Beck stuck around to say hi, nice fellas!

Mello was SO tired!

We then went golfing, 1st trip. He rode in the basket the whole time and crashed on our way home. We had such a wonderful day!

We left last night to head to Idaho. We went from Fayetteville to Minneapolis to Spokane, WA. Now we are on the road to head to Sandpoint, Idaho to see Logan!

Cooper did really well on the flight. The 1st one he slept most of it to wake up the last bit and make some friends. The 2nd flight we had an extra seat between us and it was his castle!!! The flight attendants loved him and he had a great time. A little fussy when ready to crash but not too bad!

ALL the gear!

Playing in the hotel this morning!

Busy Busy Baby!!!

This past week has been one of the biggest life changing moments in my life as I mourned our friends, Nathan and Amy Hill's, 14 mos. old son, Tucker. His services were grace filled and worshiped God in thanksgiving for the months he was here. My heart is deep with sorrow but full of God's hope. This little boy was full of joy and was filled with the fruit of spirit. He is missed so much!

This week has also been a big life changing week for Cooper as he can push him self up to sit, crawl, pull up on things and loves walking around the edge of his crib.

We found him sitting up and then when in and he gave this "smile" face, so we put him back on his back with his Elliot Elephant
Then we saw on the monitor a HUGE face, he had stood up and was here trying to reach the monitor.
can you tell he thought this was awesome!
Love this picture of these two!
Cooper and Mello have so much fun together. Mello does so well playing with this baby.
With the crawling started, the boundaries for Cooper for getting bigger and bigger. See the toy over to the left, he never travels alone :)
And this my friends is how he is the happiest. Mostly naked with all his toys!

Today my brother comes in town for a quick visit, but we are excited to see him! A low key weekend at home before we head to see Logan with the whole Wright family!!! 1st flight coming up, wish us luck!
