New Mantle Decor

Paul Mitchell: fun little place we got to stop on the way to the beach.
 http://www.paulmichaelhome.com/Paul_Michael/Home.html

Mom and I stopped at this awesome place in Lake Village, AR. They have all kinds of cute, cute, cute items for home decor and at VERY reasonable prices. I found these two canisters for my mantle and want to plan a fun trip there again soon once I get some of my other tables in my home.
The small one was $8, and the larger one $13, that's crazy!

Beach Trip in photos!

There are not enough "happy" words to describe how lovely my trip was with my momma! We got to stop and shop when we wanted, we got to grab a starbucks when we wanted, we got to stop and go to the bathroom when we wanted too, we just got to stop, stop and stop on our way to the beach and it was a blast! We drove halfway on Tuesday and finished the drive Wed. morning to spend a day at the Outlet Mall!!!

Our first night of eating :) Oyster House

Our Second night of eating: Lulu's, such a fun place with live music!

Luke and his lovely girlfriend, Brooklyn, spent the week their with some friends and joined us on Friday. My dad flew in on Friday to spend some time with Luke golfing. Friday evening we had dinner at home with Peel-em and Eat-em shrimp and stuffed crabs and a gorgeous salad. This is my favorite meal. The last night we went to Wolf Bay Bayou and was really good. Before we ate we saw them "show-off" a set of fish a group of men have caught for the day:

Me, Mom and Brooklyn:

Pruett/Wright Family:

And of course: we had to go to Scoops as a family tradition! Here we are after enjoying our scoops!

The weather was amazing! Could sit all day and hardly break a sweat!!!!

I'm so thankful for this time with my mom and loved the addition of my dad, my brother and Brooklyn. My hubby held the fort down and had lots of fun with all of his buddies all week. Kind of think my home turned into an older version "frat" house, but it was nicely kept, thanks boys! And don't feel too bad for my man, he is about to spend a long weekend with his buddies here:

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!! Happy Birthday!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
Jordan and I are blessed with wonderful women in our lives that we can call mom. These women have for years taught us how to love selflessly and how to follow Christ's lead in our lives. I'm honored(and I know Jordan would agree) to have mother in laws that are amazing. We truly appreciate you both and hope you each know how important you are to us! I hope I can be a mom someday that is at least half of what you are!!!

Me and my momma! We are off to the beach Wed. for a fun girls getaway, yeepie!

We love you Pat!!!!

And...I couldn't add a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Beard!!! I love ya lots and hope you had a wonderful 25! I couldn't resist this photo as it was graduation up here too! We have been through so many life transitions together and you are such a dear friend to me. Thanks for always listening and being there no matter what life throws at us! Again, Happy Birthday!!!

Pruett Parent Visit!!!

My parents came to visit this Sat. to help us fix up the yard as part of their home sweet home gift! They were so generous of their time, effort and gifts. They helped us spice up our backyard and get Jordan :) all the yard equipment he will need to keep our yard nice. We are so thankful for them and appreciate their help in our home!

Before: backyard with no flower garden

After: Garden in place!

I love my hanging Daisy flower basket

And this pretty pink pot of flowers!

My mom brought us this wreath and beautiful cross hanger to hold it. I love this!

She brought these two trees and I replaced the white vase on the mantle with these two guys!

Updated mantle.

White vase makes a nice touch on the bar.

Overall, we are beyond thankful for our parents and all they have done to help us during this big, fun transition in our life in buying a home. We love them so much and praise God for the blessing of them in our lives!

Modge Podge...

We have had an eventful past few weeks and here are some pics to capture all the fun!
We got a new camera and here is one of the many pics we took of Mello as we were playing with our camera, isn't he too cute :)

At the Lender's Office, signing all of our house papers last Friday, those are our first house keys!

Jordan working so hard to bury his AT&T cable line. He has taken such good care of our yard by watering it twice a day all week and helping greatly with our move!

SOLD: to Mr. and Mrs. Jordan Wright

Jordan loves this photo because he thinks it shows his awesome skills of being focused on my face but with a blury background, I love this photo because it captures how happy I am about our home. We really are so thankful and would love to share it anytime!

HOME SWEET HOME

The Sunday after we moved I got to go to Conway to my 3rd grade BFF's wedding shower!! Ali is getting married in August and it was so fun to shower her and Rich with so many amazing gifts for their home!

Oh, I love these girls! Marietta, me, the bride (Ali), and Meg. Such dear friends to my heart, love to you all!
This weekend is filled with relaxing at home and a day visit from my parents. I'm excited for them to see our home! I'm off all next week and taking a little girl trip with my momma to the beach, so fun pictures to come! My man and my mello will be here to hold the fort down :)
