Easter 2013

Easter fun began yesterday with a visit from Nana and Joe Joe. They spoiled Cooper with a Cars basket and a cookie (that mello is trying to steal in this pic) happiest kid around here! 

 We all had a great morning at church celebrating our RISEN KING! I say "all" with happiness because normally Cooper screams at the church building once he sees it, this morning he walked in like a big boy! Then we did our Easter lunch with the Hartnesses and Rays and the Hills with little visits :)

 we got to go see Max and Gideon before easter dinner, then Amy got to pop over and join us for a visit. 

KK and Gramma are on their way up right now for a fun next 3 days of playing with Cooper!! He's such a lucky boy to have family that loves him so much-it fills my heart. I cried and cried just singing praises to our King this morning-I'm so thankful for this day and the hope that He brings in this world. Thank you Lord for your Son and his gift of eternal life!!!!

Since I had a girls' weekend the boys had their own weekends. Cooper stay with Gramma and Pops and Jordan went to Tunica with some friends.

KKG Weekend!

Every year, but one, my sweet kappa friends get together for a little reunion! We started this the first year after I got married and have continued most years. They arrived Friday night where we stayed up till 1:30 talking! Not nursing or tending to a baby but just talking to my girl friends-sooooooo fun!

Sat. We had a lazy morning, ate lunch at Loafin Joes, looked through a couple of shops and then went to our friend, Carla's, wedding. It was beautiful and so fun to see friends as catch up. Today they have left and I wait for my boys to get back. Till then ill enjoy the quiet :)

My Brother is engaged!!!

Friday, my brother proposed to Brooklyn and we had a fun celebration afterwards at my parents house! I'm so excited for them and will love having her in our family. Lots of fun to come in this season :)




We had a little spread of food. Cupcakes from Patti Cakes, sandwich platters from Kroger that were delicious, spinach dip, and pink lady punch.







Lots of friends and family came to support these two and it just makes my heart happy to see all the support they have so far for their marriage. Love them both!




Fun week ahead with Bachelor Finale, getting to see Brooks and check on his kidneys, family photos, play dates and low key family weekend-ahhhh love it!

I'm 32 weeks and under the 2 month mark from due date- yeepie!!!! Happy week :)

LAS VEGAS!!!!

The first weekend in March Jordan and I went with his parents to Vegas and it was such a fun, refreshing trip! Cooper stayed with his Nana and Joe Joe and not sure he missed us a bit. We flew out Friday afternoon, got to the Venetian and went to see Faith Hill and Tim McGraw in concert. It was wonderful to see them together and I LOVED the small atmosphere of this show. 

 Sat. Morning we woke up and the boys went to play golf and the girls enjoyed a quiet breakfast in bed before facials at the Spa, Canyon Ranch at the Venetian-perfect morning for this momma! I'm a morning person, but these days my mornings are spent chasing Cooper :) not reading or drinking coffee or watching GMA :) 

 We joined the guys for a lunch at the golf course and it was my favorite meal and perfect atmosphere-gorgeous weather!!!

So thankful for parents to love us and enjoy spending time with us on fun trips! People in Vegas are super nice to a 30 week prego!!! 

Tucker

I'm overwhelmed by God's grace and mercy as it has been a year since I said bye to a little bundle of joy. We got to celebrate Tucker's 1st Heaven Birthday with a play with his fire truck and sending him some balloons to play with :) cooper kept saying "tucker, balloon, heaven". These 2 wild little guys are distant besties. I also had the blessing to meet Maximus Hill on this day. Blessing! So good for my soul to meet him! I love this family so much and am excited to raise our little boys together.













Thankful to God for such a great group of people to live life with. We know how to rejoice and mourn together and it's beautiful!!!
