Brooks' 1st Easter!!!

We celebrated Easter Sunday at home with our annual Easter dinner with The Rays and Hartnesses! Such a special time to get together and so much fun we always have. Jordan got sick Saturday afternoon so he was a trooper on Sunday. The boys looked adorable and had fun olYing outside and searching for eggs.

Brooks' 1st Easter dinner
This kid is so sweet and funny!!!

We didn't get one good family photo so this will do. So hard to get two busy boys to look at the camera. Probably a recurring theme to come in my life!

Cooper learned at church that they rolled away the stone by rolling a rock into a bucket and then yelled "Jesus is Risen" and pointed to Heaven! I love the small seeds of Christ's love for him already growing in His heart. Our God is so good and loves, loves, loves us so much!

Brooks 11 mos

This little guy is so sweet and so fiesty! I can't comprehend how he is 11 months old and so quickly this year has flown by. Brooks is chill, yet determined to get what he wants. He loves to eat food and is now down to 2 nursings and 2 cups of whole milk! He weighs around 20 lbs-coop weighed this at 6 mos! He wears size 3 diapers, 6-12 mos pants, 12-18 mos shirts, size 3 or 4 shoe. We have recently exited a season of sickness and teething and have started to sleep better-hope this continues!

No one makes Brooks laugh like Cooper does. They will play together in Cooper's room and on the trampoline. Brooks doesn't have the texture issues Cooper did and is all over the grass, trying to eat bark and going straight for mud outside. He's more of my kid who goes for all the "no's". Yet he loves his family so much and cuddles when tired. He is a thumb sucker at night and I still hate that but can't change it. He's not walking yet but will take a step when he gets himself sturdy and likes to let go and see how long he can stand. The other night he climbed up on our end table and was standing up on it-so that was awesome :/ have to watch him real closely now!

I'm so excited for this summer and all the fun and busy that's coming!!! Brooks is just wonderful and we all love him to pieces!

Gramma and Pops visit!!

This weekend we all got spoiled by having Jordan's parents in town. Lots of playtime for the boys and we were able to both go and play too!

Friday we played and I got to go to the spa and Jordan got to golf. We went over that evening and hung out with the Peters and Matsuyamas, so fun and such sweet friends!

Sat. We played and played outside!!! That night we went to Table Mesa to celebrate Jordan's birthday this week and had cupcakes to celebrate at his birthday party-per Cooper's request!

At dinner Sat.

Getting setup for the birthday party

Brooks doesn't always enjoy Cooper's love! Hahaha!

Such a fun weekend and excited to celebrate Jordan's birthday on Thursday! We also get a full week with dad home which is a huge WIN!

Lots of fun!

Photo catch up and lots of fun times to remember!!

Superman and batman come around often!
Bath time is another time to play now!
Brother cuddles! They have so much fun together right now.
Playing at the park with sweet friends: Asa and Elle
And all of our littles! Such sweet friends!

Coffee date with mom!

We had a fun visit with Nana and Joe Joe a couple of weeks ago!

Brooks is 10 mos old now and it's so crazy how busy, talkative and playful he has become!

A weekend at home...

Friday, we celebrated our friend Tucker with sending him balloons in Heaven. We miss him more than words can express but are so thankful for him! Cooper always goes straight to driving the fire truck around-those two would have played and played!

Friday night we had our neighbors over for dinner. Then Elliot came back and we watched Frozen

We woke up Sat and went to the drive through zoo in Gentry and had a great time! We were trying to get out and enjoy the weather before all this silly sleet came today!

Jen Hatmaker weekend

Last weekend I went down to Conway and got to spend time with my parents. It was a relaxing trip and also filled with so much fun. A group of girls met and went to listen to Jen Hatmaker in little rock and what she had to say seems so simple, yet so life changing...love your neighbor.

I finally fixed the blog all on my phone so maybe I'll be a bit better at keeping up now. Here are some photos from last weekend. Also Brooks turned 9 mos, but yet again he's shortly about to turn 10. Hoping I can get his 1st birthday party in May, haha!!!

Today we got to play superheroes with Garrison and have some fun at home-such a treat!

Brooks is 8 months! (I've completely forgotten 7 and he is actually almost 9)!!!

Brooks will actually be 9 mod in just a few days, but I haven't posted these and I have no idea what I did with 7 months-oh well!

These two play all the time together and it's such a joy to watch. Brooks is now crawling, pushing to sit, pulling up to stand, and cruising around things. We just lowered his bed and gave him a pillow and blanket. Both of the boys have been sick this past week with yucky colds. Today, I'm home and loving every minute of it!

I put Coop in the bath almost daily to wear him out!!! I need the summer time!
Bedtime snuggles with dad. This man is so good to these boys and we missed him when he was gone last week. Thankful for my little army of men here!

Happy Monday and Happy Feb!

Pruett Family Christmas

Christmas with our Pruett family was the weekend after because Luke and Brooklyn were on their honeymoon the weekend before. We had so much fun celebrating with our new family members this year!!! We opened gifts, had a beautiful lunch, and then took Cooper to see Frozen.

I can't believe how blessed we are to have such wonderful family for our boys, that's really the best gift we have!

Jordan and I had a New Year's Eve dinner at Bordinos and then went skiing with lots of our friends. Sadly, after that we have said goodbye to two of our family members: Papa Harvey-Pat's dad, and my Uncle Alvin. This week is already starting off odd with our snow day and continues this really unpredictable season we are in. Here's to 2014 and finding blessings the ride no matter what comes our way!

(I've gotten really bad at taking photos with my phone and then I just upload them to shutter fly and not my computer so I miss out on a lot for my blog-going to work on that!)

Brooks's 1st Christmas!!

The weekend before Christmas we got to spend with Jordan's family and had so much fun!!

Christmas Eve we stayed at home and went to Fellowship and had such a wonderful service. I loved that they gave the kids glow sticks and it was just a wild and crazy night! We came home and had a yummy dinner and made cupcakes for Jesus' birthday party (as coop kept saying). Christmas morning we opened gifts at our house and then decided to go and surprise our families. We 1st went to Judsonia and surprised Jordan's grandparents and his parents. Then we went to Conway and surprised my parents. The boys and I stayed in Conway and we had the Pruett family Christmas the following weekend.
