The Blanchette Reception

We went to the Lyric for the reception and it was beautiful The decorations were perfect, the food was delicious and the dancing was so much fun! I literally danced all night long!!! I had a blast and I kept hearing Ali say, "this is so much fun!", so that makes my heart happy for her to enjoy their evening so much!

Bride's cake and his was an assortment of cheesecakes

Their 1st dance

All the dancing, all night long. Their families all seemed to have a blast and we wish them the best in their marriage.

This weekend was absolutely beautiful and filled with love and fun from everyone. They are a lovely couple that just laugh and enjoy each other so much. I couldn't be happier for the man my best friend found! I'm honored to have been a part of this marriage ceremony. Looking forward to my visit to the Blanchette household in November.

Now we are re-packing for our trip to San Francisco and Napa Valley on Wednesday, yeepie!!!!

Mr. and Mrs. Rich Blanchette

The Wedding Ceremony went perfect! Ali's sister Ashlie was unable to make the wedding since she just had a baby last Monday, but they were able to Skype her in for the whole ceremony and for parts of the reception, so fun!!
Please meet Mr. and Mrs. Blanchette!

Getting ready for our bubble blowing...

yeah!!!

then we all got onto a double decker bus that took us from the wedding to the reception site on the square.

GOING TO THE CHAPEL!!!

The day of the wedding us, the McClures and the Swanns woke up and went and ate brunch at Big Bad Breakfast, which was awesome! The girls then went for a walk around campus, such a treat for me to be able to walk and talk with my favorite people. We got ready and headed to the chapel to let all the fun begin!

Us just waiting to get ready with the whole gang.

Ali getting her dress on with NO make-up marks, perfect!

Me and the BRIDE!!! She looked amazing.

My favorite photo! We love you Al and are so happy for you! You looked beautiful!!!

Some of our new Ole Miss friends! We have crossed paths with Megan and Erin a few times with Ali since Freshman year of college and have made good friends with them over the years!

We discovered our nice little dresses had pockets and so we couldn't resist a little goofy shot of our pockets! What a fun crew!!!!!

Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner

Rehearsal was at 4:30 at the Chapel on Ole Miss Campus. It all went good and then we headed to the Convention Center for Rehearsal Dinner. Dinner was full of fun fellowship and great funny speeches.

Books in my life

These are the books that are ministering to me on a daily basis and teaching me so much about God and living daily for Him.

And with me, Jordan is reading the one for a husband.

Books are great ways to supplement teachings of truth in my life. If you ever have a good book please leave it as a comment. I'm always looking for another book to mold me.

1st Day!

Jordan and I have spent the last year in prayer and perseverance for his job search. I've never been so proud of anyone in their strength and willingness to trust God. Jordan has taught me so much this year of trusting and God has expanded our faith in Him.
Jordan sent me this scripture when he found out about his new job.
1 corinthians 1: 9 Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead. 10 He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again. 11 You also must help us by prayer, so that many will give thanks on our behalf for the blessing granted us through the prayers of many.

God has brought goodness to my husband and so today he brings blessing of his 1st day of work for Performance Food Group

Praise God for this opportunity and we are so thankful, again, for his beautiful provision for our family!

Happy Birthday Dad!

This week we were away from our dads as they celebrated their birthdays.
Aug 10th Lynn

Aug 11th Joe

My dad's secretary made him this cake, how very appropriate!

We love both of these men so much and are thankful for all they have given to us. They pour out their love, their encouragement and their wisdom to mold us constantly. We both would not be where we are without their goodness in our lives. We thank our Heavenly Father for picking such great men to raise us, we are so thankful! Happy Birthday Dads! We love you very much!!!!

Our Anniversary!!! Here we come #3!!!!

We have had a fun filled wedding celebration. We have opened gifts, eaten a wonderful meal, hung out with great friends, spent a whole Saturday together and dreamed and prayed about the future of our marriage. I'm honored and very thankful for the man God created for me to draw me closer to Himself through daily love, encouragement, sharping and prayer. I'm proud to be this man's wife and live a life devoted to him daily. He makes me better and I'm so excited to press on to year 3!

I did a scavenger hunt for Jordan and here are his pieces for his gifts.

My goodie when I entered the house :)

A cute little goodie from our favorite, RICK's!

He came home with these orange roses: red=love, yellow=friendship and I am both, very thoughtful!

Sat. we spent the day out piddling and went to Roger's downtown district, had a fun lunch and walked around. I even got of cute fruit bowl from an antique store with a gift card from my birthday last year, took me awhile to use it, huh?

then we had a great supper at:

I just LOVE this man! I'm so proud of him and love being his wife!!!

Then we came home to make cookies for our neighbors!

We spent today on the lake with our community group whom we are so thankful God has provided such great friends in Fayetteville. We look forward to our time in Oxford, MS soon for the Blanchette wedding and then our trip to San Francisco and Napa Valley!

Jordan begins his new job tomorrow with PFG, Performance Food Group, and we can't be more thankful for God's provision for him and us.

Happy 2nd Anniversary!!!

Today we celebrate year 2 of wedded bliss with a day at the lake with our community group! So blessed to have such great friends!! I'm the happiest woman in the world and beyond blessed to have Jordan in my life!
