3rd weekend in December

We spent this past weekend at my parents to celebrate Christmas with them. They came up Thursday and got Cooper and I so we could go down early and play. Friday morning my brother had ACL surgery and so Cooper was making up for his missed workout this day :)
Sat. we got to go visit Bobo and Pat!!!! We love them so much and it was Pat's 85th birthday, such a treat that we got to stop by and see her.
mom and I about to tackle our minced meat pies!
Christmas fun! watching Elmo with dad and about to open gifts and eat all of our favorite Christmas Eve goodies! My mom was so sweet to make these for Sat. night then we had a yummy roast Sunday for our Christmas meal :)
My parents are getting Cooper a train table for his new big boy room and we go pieces of the train to open.

He also got a Mater truck that you can ride. He was THRILLED when he opened it, but then it started to move and he completely freaked out. It was too funny! He still is not sure about the Mater moving :)
Favorite gift: these little Cars the movie books. He LOVES them!

Every year we search the tree for the hidden pickle and this year I was the winner!!! Luke couldn't play because of his knee so just Jordan and I.

BOY oh BOY!

Our little world is getting more and more fun with another boy! We are excited and just loved getting to watch him yesterday. Cooper is going to love having a buddy, I already pray for a sweet strong friendship for them. This little guy right now has a kidney that is a little bigger and might resolve itself. I guess most of the time it does, but I'm praying for complete healing of this issue. We will check on it again later on but as for now it's trusting God with his health and the perfect body He gives him!

We texted this pic to Jordan's family and our friends :) we did the same thing to share Cooper's gender

I found this frame at War Eagle in oct and gave it to my parents yesterday. My kids call them Nana and Papa. My mom came up to get Cooper and I and my dad surprised us too! We came down early for a Christmas weekend and Jordan will head down today!!

Mom and I got to do some shopping yesterday and I got to show them where I work. My brother Luke is having ACL surgery right now so I pray that goes smoothly. Fun weekend ahead with our Pruett family!!!

2nd weekend in December

We celebrated our family of 3's "Christmas morning" early this year and had such a wonderful weekend together! Friday night we watched Christmas movies and put together Cooper's little tool table. Sat. morning we woke up and opened gifts and then ate a yummy breakfast of french toast casserole and a breakfast casserole. That afternoon we met up with the Rays and Hartnesses and played at Mt. Sequoia. From there we headed to the mall to see Santa before having the Hills over for dinner and the Rays and Hartnesses over for dessert. Such a fun, unplanned family weekend!!!!

Cooper's loot. He loved Elmo the most :)

We all love Mello so much! Cooper plays all the time with him.
new golf clubs because we have destroyed the other set.

Asa, Ellery and Cooper together missing their buddy Tucker! Today was his birthday and we loved thinking about him and remembering what a great friend he was!!!
Sunday was filled with church and lots of relaxing! Great, great weekend!
Tomorrow we get to find out if Cooper will be a Big Bro to a sister or brother and we are so excited. This weekend we are celebrating Christmas with our Pruett family and we can't wait! Fun, fun time of year. :)

Our "minimal" Christmas Decor

This year we went very minimal with all decorations. I'm certain Cooper would have tackled a big tree and we are out of town a lot to visit family and for a trip, so I didn't want to have to take down so much. All my front door decorations are new and I love them. Something about the little trees make it come together well. I put a small 3 foot tree on our buffet and bought ornaments to do with it for the dining room. I love my Christmas dishes and new runner for the dining room table.

1st Weekend in Dec

Each weekend for this month is filled with lots of fun! We stayed home this week and gosh did I love it! Friday night was my annual work Christmas party and this year they took us to the spa and dinner!!! It was up in Bentonville at East Meets West. I received a massage and pedicure and hours of laughter with co-workers!

Sat. And Sunday was spent just playing at home! The weather was gorgeous so lots of time outside and with our doors open. We also decided to start the process of turning the guest room into Cooper's big boy room. I had a moment of tears as we began switching him over. Cannot believe he's getting this big so fast and that we are awaiting a new one to our family, very thankful for our blessings!!!

No more living room playpen or "Cooper's Castle" as we called it. He busted out of it the other day so it was time for it to be put up.
