Go Hogs!!!

We watched the Hogs play LSU with our Wright family and our friends! Cooper got to meet his buddy Beckett and lots of people who love us so much. We had a blast hanging out with everyone even though we lost. Sat. We got up and went to Judsonia to visit Jordan's Papa Jerry, 4 generations of Wright men! (again, pic on camera so it's coming) we had so much fun with Kendyl and decorating the house for Christmas!!! We came home this morning and have had a wonderful slow day! Looking forward to a fun trip to Branson next weekend with our community group!!!!!

1st Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful time down in Central Arkansas for Cooper's 1st Thanksgiving. I never thought I could love this much and be filled with such joy over our son. He is a rock star and traveled all over and met tons of new family members! I'm so thankful for everyone in my life, God has blessed me abundantly with a great family and I'm just so happy!!!

More family pics on my camera to come :)

EAT!EAT!EAT!

Cooper is beginning the eating process! We tried last night for the 1st time some rice cereal. He got this around 6, then I gave him a bath and nursed him before bed around 7:00. Jordan gave him a bottle and then I didn't hear a peep till 6:30. Maybe just luck or maybe some of this stuff helped hold him over. I'd love this new routine! He, as expected, made a complete mess. He did have some good munching and swallows, so now we just have to keep practicing!

My 4 Month Memories!

Cooper weighs 16.4lbs (80th), height 25.5in (75th)
healthy as can be and did not have any trouble with his 4 month shots. We will begin cereal this month.
Cooper wakes up around 5 and will talk to himself for a bit before wanting to nurse. He typically goes back to bed and visits with himself before falling back asleep. He gets up for good around 7-7:30. We play, or head to work, before a short morning nap.
He eats about 4-5oz during the day 3-4 hours, and around 8oz at night and 1st thing in the morning. His last feeding is 7:00 o'clock and Jordan gives a bottle at 10 to hold him over.
He is wearing 3-6 month clothing, size 2 diapers, enjoys a bath, working on getting rid of some dry scalp:brushing and Aveeno shampoo, lots of saline spray to help with stuffy nose.
Loves playing on his play mat or in bouncee seat. Grabbing anything in his reach, sleeping on side all by himself, laughing and smiling all the time.

It's crazy how I write these memories and things he is going through right now that I want to remember but how normal they all seem to me. Life goes from crazy there is a baby, to life is so normal with a baby. Not sure what we did with all of our time before Coop. I love being his mom and I am dang good at! It's the most fun role I have ever taken on. I enjoy nursing and spending as much time as I can with this boy. I love doing all the daily mundane tasks and experiencing life with Cooper in it. He is doing great at my work with me and I'm beyond thankful for this place and my co-workers. Excited for month 5 as we will begin to "eat" and watch this little personality unfold!

Dixie Stampede

oh how I love this beautiful smile! He is such a happy baby!
While in Branson we went to the Dixie Stampede for the 1st time. It was their Christmas show and lots of fun. You get way too much fun, but a fun show to get involved in. Jordan and I had a lot of fun doing this together.

Community Group Thanksgiving

Last night we celebrated Thanksgiving with some of our favorite friends! We do this every year at our house and its always a blast!!! We have the best cooks in our group and since I'm no cook I host :)

I got Cooper a cute Christmas Outfit from Ella Arden for $15!!!

Hog weekend!!!

This time of year if just wonderful! We had our sweet friends Scott and Val come up and spend the weekend with us and go to a game. Friday night we ha a babysitter and enjoyed supper at Justin and Lauren Davis' house. These guys get together every year for a game and I just love seeing everyone!
*I tried Skinny Girl Sangria and it was ok. Obviously all the sweet syrup stuff was not in it but it wasnt too bad :)

Saturday was so fun! Our Wright family came to town, we ate Lunch with Scott and Val at Hog Haus balcony, I saw Marietta, Stephanie and Megan Matsuyama, we had Landon and Jenny stay the night and I felt my 1st earthquake.

Sunday my parents came up for the day and we took some family photos! Such a great weekend with family and friends!!!!! We are so blessed and am just loving this season of life. Cooper is doing wonderful and I am just so happy loving this baby!
