Saturday night church

Last night Jordan and I went to Fellowships Saturday night service. I have to work today and so we decided to go do that. We love this service yet always find it hard to get to. Hopefully our weekends will continue to let us go to this church.

Last night they talked about viewing God High and How we are to follow his commands and allow the rest of it all happen to his plan.

Razorback relief!!

We went last night with the Rays to help package meals at razorback relief. We were filling bags of soy, protein, beans and rice to send to people in Haiti. They created such a fun work environment and we saw so many friends and families there helping! It is a great event. These meals will be delivered between 5 days and two weeks to Haiti.

We were table 10 and had the best crew!


We had to finish 18 bags and then box them up. Each bag will feed a family of 6!


Overall we are so thankful for the opportunity to serve the people if Haiti from home. Please continue to pray for this country and people as they rebuild their lives.

Baseball

My co-workers and I got free tickets to the Naturals game from a home health agency. So Jordan and I went to the game last night. We got free parking, free tickets, and $15 free dollars! Great date night! The weather was great and we had a good time.



On the way out they were giving out granola bars. The lady literally shoved four boxes into each of our hands! Anyone want some granola bars???



Tonight we are off to help at Razorback Relief. This organization is planning in putting together 2 million meals for Haiti and we get to help!!! So excited! Hope you all have great weekends!

Happy Father's Day/ Happy Birthday!!!

We were able to make a fun trip down to central arkansas to celebrate our fathers and our mother. My mother in law had to share her special day with all the men in the world, what a woman! We went down after work sat. and stayed the night with the Wright Clan. We went to church with them and then were able to see the whole family at lunch. From there we went to the Pruett house where Jordan and my dad quickly escaped to play golf. We grilled chicken legs and corn for my dad for his supper. We wrapped the evening by watching the US Open (I think) and then headed home. A short but sweet trip to celebrate!

Lynn is such a great father and father in law. He loves us so much and cares about us a ton. He has the greatest ability to persevere and overcome obstacle with triumph and great strength. He is very optimistic and is the source of guidance in the Wright family. 

My mother in law in such a sweet woman. She loves and prays for Jordan and I daily. She encourages us and gives us her strength in hard times. She rejoices with us when we "win". Her spirit to give to others without ceasing to think of herself is beautiful. we are lucky to have someone in our lives that loves us so much. 

My dad is a wonderful man. We love him so much and are thankful for all of his sound guidance and advice. He constantly lets us know of his love, support, and how proud he is of us. He rejoices with us and gives us all that he can. He works hard daily to selflessly live for his family. 

I have just finished reading this book by Beth Moore. It was excellent! I'd encourage any woman to read it and then get a group of women together and work through with them. This is an epidemic that is running through our culture and we have the ability to stop it and begin to run towards security. it taught me a lot and I think every woman that reads this blog would love it and benefit from it. 

Deep breath and step forward

We found out yesterday that the company Jordan was going to work for did not get their drugs approved by the FDA and therefore they aren't able to offer the position in NWA.

Disappointment set in as he thought "the search" had ended. This morning we wake renewed and restored with patience, perseverance and trust. When we try to question why and wrestle with God in frustration, at the end of the day our greatest peace is Him and trusting Him.

We have grown and become such a team during this season. We have foud God at the forefront of our marriage and know He is guiding this path we are on. So I ask that you would continue to not just pray for a job, but that we will humbly follow God's directions.

Im thankful for Jordan and the kind of man he is. He works ao hard and continues to rely on God! I couldnt be married to a better man for me.

We are thankful for God's provision and the job he has at AT&T, he will be getting a raise and they really like having him there. We are thankful for my job, our family's constant love and all of our friends support and prayers!

Little corner

My dad and hubby found these two little chairs for free on the side of the road. They were black with deep mustard yellow seats, gross???

So my mother in law helped me spice them up!

Provider

I just want to update you all about how great our God's provision is. Jordan has been though a year of in and out of jobs. He and I have learned so much about being a team and acknowledging our God as our greatest provider. He has fully provided for us and I'm certain will continue through our lives.

Jordan received a call this morning telling him that he had received the job as NWA Hawthorne pharmecuetical rep. He has worked so hard for these interviews and has been completely trusting in God. I'm so honored to walk through life with a man who puts all of his trust in our maker. We gave grown so much in working together as a team!

We are very thankful to many family members and friends for all of your prayers, love and support!

Busy little Bees

Sorry to have left the snake post up sooo long! We have been busy with all kinds of things and just haven't had time to post. Life is great and we are doing excellent. Jordan just recently got back from a man trip to Vegas and I got to spend the weekend in Conway with these little guys and my parents!


I had a great time with family and Jordan enjoyed himself on his trip. We then have had hi parents in town because Logan is at a football camp up here. Pat is helping me redo some furniture so I'll be posting pics of that soon!

Jordan has interviewed, yet not heard back about his pharmecuetical job so we wait patiently on God's leading for him and us.

I like this quote from Corrie Ten Boom who was a prisoner in a torturous Nazi prison camp:

"hold everything in your hands lightly,otherwise it hurts when God pries your fingers open"

We, mostly, Jordan are so excited that the world cup starts! We get to have a BBQ with our community group Thursday and can't wait!
