Sad times

So some how I have hurt my wrist that I broke when I was in 8th grade. Not sure what happened, I'm sure I lifted something I shouldn't have. But when I realized I'm in pain when I pick up my dog and that we
are moving soon and I have no time for a bummed wrist I went to the doctor to find out I have damaged the cartilage basically sprained my wrist so, this is my new best friend - so ugly but feels so good :)

CCC

After 2 years of grad school, and 9 months of my clinical fellowship, I am now nationally accredited with my CCC's, certified clinically competent! That's exciting!!!! I'm officially a speech language pathologist!

CONGRATS ANNE AND DANIEL MCPHERSON!!!

This last Friday we got to go and celebrate our friend's Anne and Daniel's marriage. It was so much to dance and see lots of our friends! I'm so excited for them and know their marriage will bring great glory to God. Here are some photos from our fun evening!

Jordan's Birthday!!!!

A few weeks ago we went to Ruth's Chris to celebrate Jordan's birthday together since we would be in central Arkansas for his birthday. We celebrated his birthday with friends after a great wedding and with a birthday dinner at Bruno's with his family. I love this man and hope he has a great next year!

My mother in law showed me this new blog and this lady had written this and I really liked it! Enjoy and have a great day and weekend :)

Today I am comfortable in my skin. Oh joy, it feels great to like where I am at. Today I am not a victim who is subjected to a lifetime of dieting, but rather I am a joyful happy person choosing healthy and nutritious foods. I am that.

Today I feel at peace with the world and all of it’s inhabitants. I would like to infect everyone that I meet with this feeling, so that we can stop focusing on what we are not and where we are lacking. Lets focus more on what we are and where we have strength.

I am that, all of that and that and that.

Tomorrow? Well I really don’t know what tomorrow will bring but I guess I will be that too. There is a peace in that at least.

St. Patty's Day!

We went by our home and they have insulation in and are about to add walls! We have trim too!

We also had a great night with the peters. We played Settlers of Catan an our dogs had a blast together!!!

Super sandwiches

I'm having a group of college girls over and am making my mother in law's yummy super sandwiches!!!














Ingredients: 3/4 lb. Deli turkey, 6 oz. mozzarella cheese, 6 croissants

Sauce: 1 stick margarine,1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce, 11/2 tbsp. mustard, 1 tsp onion flakes

Directions: Cut croissants in half, Spread sauce on bottom of bread. layer cheese and meat.
Cover sandwich and drizzle 1 tbsp. of sauce on top. Bake 10 minutes @350º

Number Of Servings: 6

Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Birthday dinner!

My great husband turns 24 next weekend and we will be in central Arkansas so we are going out for his birthday dinner tonight! I love this man so much and am thankful for all he does for me! I'm so excited to celebrate him!

Decisions decisions!!!

When I was planning our wedding I had the mindset of once a decision was made no changing it, otherwise you could change things a million times.

I'm using this idea with our home. There are so many decisions and it can be overwhelming but to keep it enjoyable once we make a decision we have to move on. It's a home and will be great but this worl offers too many choices for everything. :)

Go go mom and dad!!!!

I'm so proud of my parents, my mom ran the little rock half and my dad did the full marathon. They have been examples my whole life of discipline and healthy living that it is my daily encouragement to do so. I ran the last 4.5 with my momma and had a blast. We also ran with her friend Cheryl Bramlett and her son Jeff who just had his first half marathon at age 18, so prou of him!

We spent the weekend with the wrights and had a blast! Pat and I went shopping and the boys went to a movie. We had such a lovely family weekend!!! Love you all so much!

A roof!!

This evening we met with our builder and to my surprise there is a structural roof! Just yesterday it was only walls, wow!!!!!

I LOVE it! Tomorrow they will add windows and shingles this weekend!

Brewer Rehearsal Dinner

Friday night we went to the Morrow/Brewer Rehearsal dinner and it was awesome! They did a western theme and had a BBQ buffet for supper. Afterwards we went to a western bar and got to line dance and two step all night long, so much fun!
