A Chef I am

Well people, I have made Banana Pudding from SCRATCH!!! Yep, that's right, no jello packets for me, but from scratch and it was AMAZING! I learned from my sister in law, that anything made from scratch is just way better and SOOO true. Thanks to my mother in law and this handy cookbook she gave me, I made this pudding and felt like a real chef!

Lynn started his Chemo treatments today and ask for your prayers for the whole family, for him his strength and Pat her strength to take care of him during this season. He will receive treatment for 9 weeks and then a PET scan that we pray reveals this disease to be cured and we pray for our great doctor, our Lord to cure him and walk with him through this time.

Love to you all!!!

AND....HAPPY 2ND ANNIVERSARY MARIETTA AND KENT MCCLURE!!!!
THANKS FOR SHOWING US THE ROPES OF THIS MARRIAGE THING :)

A Play: Joseph and the technicolor coat

On Saturday night we went to a play at the Rep. It was fun for all of us to get dressed up and go to a play together. We went to Chili's before to toast Kendyl back off to New York the next day. Great family time and the play was so cheesy it was funny!

Dec 25th...CHRISTMAS DAY!!!!

We got to spend Christmas day with the whole Wright clan and it was wonderful! We woke up and opened all of our gifts and then had yummy mini bellinis which are my favorite! We later went to Judsonia to see the rest of the Wright family before going to a Christmas night movie. We had such a great time with everyone and are so thankful for all of our fun goodies!

Jordan got a snuggie, he looks like the blue guy from Monster's Inc.

Mello helped to open presents

My new Christmas dishes that I will add to every year

My new Le Crueset pot that I bargained for, I got a 7.5 qt. for the price of a 5.5qt pot, I was so proud of myself!!!

Isn't it GORGEOUS!

Jordan's big gift was an Xbox, some clothes and a mort and pestal! I also got a gorgeous watch and a Waterford christmas ornament that is too pretty to just leave out at Christmas, I've got to find a perfect spot for it!

We had such a great time with all of our family and are now relaxing in central arkansas just enjoying time with family and friends!

DEC 24th...Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas with my family and went to our church's Christmas Eve service. We got there early that morning and got to just hangout. Later that day we started our festivities with our "Pickle" search, open presents, then a hot chocolate time and then off to church and back to their house for my favorite finger food dinner of all time!

Jordan, Me, and Luke before our "Pickle" search. We love Luke so much and think God has great plans in store for this guy!

Every year mom hides the pickle and we search for it and the winner gets an extra gift...

Jordan won, 2nd year in a row, and the losers have to give their loser face in the photo, he got a gift card to Slims Chicken

I got a Lady, which I LOVE and Jordan got a Weiner dog statue-too cute!

Dad and Mello-so cute

Jordan got a golf club, he was so surprised and excited!

My parents and their gorgeous tree! They are so great and we are very thankful for all of our gifts!

An Ode to Megan!

Meg and I senior year

Your hair was so long and mine so short

awww sweet friends

I always get honked at in my car when Meg is with me, not sure what that means????

the most selfless, servant during my wedding season. She was such a great help to make this time so special for me.

She looks good in black too, really in anything-I'm always asking to borrow clothes from her closet!

Glad I'm the bride because she is soooo BEAUTIFUL!!!! Love you Meg!

Great group of girls that had so many memories in this house, whoo hooo room 316!

The Traveling Sisterhood, we seem to always go together anywhere and I love that about you all!
Ali just got engaged! Meg has a bday and Mar is about to celebrate year 2 of marriage, yeah girls!!!!!!!

Celebrating my dear friend Megan's birthday today! She is an amazing woman that I'm so thankful to have close in my life to help me through life and encourage me with no boundaries through anything! She knows me well and always knows exactly what I need like, chocolate, walks when you find your grandma is sick, a morning of just coffee and the couch, a day trip to visit you 2 hours away, she is truly just great!

Christmas on Dec 21st???

Yesterday, Jordan got off work and was so excited that he wanted us to open our presents right then! We are having "our" christmas, with our annual ornament making, tomorrow and watching a Christmas movie before heading down to central arkansas for all of our festivities down there. We can't wait to celebrate with our families and to have some down time to hangout with family and friends the week after christmas!
