Our 2nd Son's name shall be...

Brooks Lucas Wright

I have liked the name Brooks for a long time and we decided to name him after my brother, Luke, who is an incredible man. I pray both my boys gain so much goodness from him!!!

Happy Valentine's Day from my little men to you!!! xoxo

Cooper's BIG boy room!!!

COOPER'S BIG BOY ROOM COMPLETED!!!!

His train table, bins and chairs were made from a family in Springdale. The bins have wheels on them so he can easily pull out his toys. I love this extra spot of storage. And of course we talk about all the fun places mom and dad have been and all the places we hope to go with Cooper when we are talking "going" with the choo-choo
I love Cooper's reading corner and so does he. I bought a plain chalk board from Hobby Lobby and Bistro Chalk Markers to write on it. I attached it with velcro to the wall so I can pull it down and let me color, draw and write. The shelf was made by Stephanie Peters with his name on it and I love it!
I have the most talented seamstress. I sent her an idea of what I wanted the valance to look like and she brought it to life. Her name is Mrs. Lisa and if you ever need anything I can send you her number. She is also working on a slipcover for Brooks' new room
I used the table from Cooper's nursery, painted by Pam Nolen. Stephanie Peters made his bed. Bedding from Pottery Barn Kids Outlet-thanks for Emily Bell :) and I painted the "Cooper" letters and found them at Hobby Lobby.
Leah Martin from Unfadingbeauty created this poster for me that I had framed. My sweet friend and woman who discipled me in college: Stephanie Qualls, had this quote and shared it with me years ago and I LOVE it. It's the perfect touch to his room and my prayers for who both my boys will become. I framed it at Hobby Lobby with a metal navy frame and plexiglass so they can't destroy it :)
Cooper loves this corner. Lots of golfing and shooting hoops!

I love how his little space has come together and he loves it so much! I'm not good at linking up everyone that helped me get this room together, but if you need any information don't be afraid to ask. I have found so many talented people in our area! Now on to Brooks' nursery :)

18 mos family fun!!!

well this belly shot is at 22 weeks and I'm now 28 weeks, but it's all I've taken-probably on purpose :) way more excited for this baby to get here than this pregnancy, necessary but so excited to have this little guy join our crazy fun world!
And this is my monkey most of the time! He has such a big personality, I love it!
Elle and Asa came over to watch the Super Bowl last weekend, Cooper loves his buddies!
Here he is saying "SOOOOOO BIG"
Twinkies with his dad-aren't they the cutest?!?!?!?!
Here's a 28 week belly with my little man
1st Haircut: no I didn't cry. He was having so much fun in this police car. Hope it's the last time I see him in one for the REST of his life :) haha. I cried much later though at all the Big Boy transitions he seems to be going through these days and my hormones are starting to get the best of me.

Family photo with our little man. I do think he looks so cute. One of my new favorite things he does these days is lean over and give me hugs and kisses without asking. He will grab my face and kiss me-melt my heart!

I'm just all kinds of behind on here! I had a full month of fun with Cooper! He turned 18 mos and has moved to a big boy bed!! Not by my choice but bc he jumps out of crib. I'm almost done with his new big boy room and will post pics soon:) here are some fun Cooper pics this month:

Since we have changed rooms, Elliot the Elephant, is his bestie!

Nap time!! Whatever....

Giving Ferrin some love at Pippi's birthday party!

Loves bath time! Truly a little fish :)

And this past weekend we got to see all grandparents and aunt and uncles-it was wonderful!! Pop had to change a light and Cooper told him he would just take care of it, ha!

This month we also got to celebrate the births of McCall Martin and Gideon and Max Hill!!!

Love these kiddos so much and am so excited for all the fun to come!

Here's to a quick little catch up :) I'm crazy busy chasing Cooper, he's such a boy! And I'm 27 weeks and just chugging along in the big belly world!

Switch it, organize it!

I have been working and thinking on Cooper's big boy room since the beginning of December. I thought I was crazy to start so early, but so thankful I did. As of last Sunday my monkey started climbing, jumping and falling out of his crib. I was up all night with him and it was just miserable. So I decided it was time, for his own safety and my sanity, for him to go in his big boy bed! Jordan was out of town while this whole changed occurred (Sunday-Wednesday). I went and bought a new sound machine and rails and with the help of my Bachelor watching buddies had the support to start this transition. Cooper has done well so far with this by only waking up one might for about an hour. I don't feel like we have this down, but thankful for a good week so far! We have also switched him to a booster seat at the table and he loves it! Coper turns 18 mos Tuesday and has had a big turn of events into a big guy.

So with him switching over, I have changed his closet, the nursery is all ready for little baby boy's stuff, I cleaned out my linen closet, created a sitting/pumping area in our room and started a couple other projects. We have had both of our families up to help the past couple of weekends and I'm so thankful!

Here are some pics from this weekends' projects!

Hung shelf, which was a tricky little thing but so cute!

Hung goal and put navy sheet on bottom mattress-little projects :)

Organized Cooper's closet

Organized linen closet

He got the cutest sleeping bag from his Ga and Pops

Reading himself to sleep for nap time

So tired from all of our work

Leah Martin turned this quote into a cute poster that I took to get frame for coopers room

Just full of personality these days!

Friday night I was able to go to a baby shower to honor my sweet friend Leah and her new little lady, McCall, to come any day! It was SO much fun and so refreshing! Today we have enjoyed a low key day at home and I'm so thankful after a busy day yesterday! I'll do more pics of Cooper's room once completed. I've ordered baby boy's bedding and am so excited to get that in.

I've had a whirlwind of emotions this week as my baby grows up so quickly and on his own time to a big boy room and bed! It has also brought so much excitement and joy to welcome a little brother to our family!

Happy weekend from our crew :)
