Cooper 15 mos

My baby boy is 15 mos old as of Oct 15th! We went to the doctor for his shots and check up and left with a left ear infection, 1 molar coming in along with 2 teeth, yikes!

Stats:
Weight 23lbs-50th percentile
Height 31 1/2 in-75th percentile
Head 18 1/4

Growing strong!

I seem to just be in awe with all he can do. He's now running and dancing and climbing on everything!

New words are happening daily and its so fun to watch him learn. He knows mama, dada, nana, papa joe joe, pops, kk, book, block, cookie, mickey, cars, more, bite, night-night, kisses, dog, lots of animal sounds and lala for Elmo. He still needs to improve his articulation but that will come w time :) the therapist in me. He knows when we go to work and see his work buddies. He knows shoes mean we get to go bye-bye and he brings me his shoes when he is ready to go.

He's a clever little boy and pushes his limits often. "no-no" and time out are used around this home frequently along with a good whoopin as needed. I say that full of love :)

He's not a big cuddler except at night before bed w me. We sing, pray and read. I love it! He loves loves loves his bed. When he's tired he will ask for his milk or tell you night night and walk to his to his room.

He's started to go through a clingy phase w me, which is typical. He loves being outside and in his wagon!

I have so much fun being his momma and love every min of it! Cooper brings such a delight to my life that words can't express my thankfulness for him!!!! He's a blessing and I'm loving my life with him daily! Thank you Father!

As for baby 2 to come in May. :) I'm 12 weeks on tues and have an appt Monday to check on this little nugget. I haven't read one thing about being pregnant this go around but am excited more for the future of our family. I praise God for building our family to how it can bring Him the most glory and through us we strive to do so!

Hey you!

I'm always behind...

It seems I've started a new routine to be a week behind with this blog. Blog fail.

Last weekend was my 28th bday and it was wonderful! My hubby gathered friends for a fun dinner at market place on Friday-goodness for my heart!

Sat my parents came up to play which was a blast! Mom and I planted pansies and got some mums for my front door. My parents are such wonderful people and I'm thankful for them. We ate dinner at Dixie Cafe-my favorite!!!

With thankful hearts!

This summer I read the book Anything by Jennie Allen and it stretched and challenged my thoughts and prayer life to the umph degree. To be honest the only area I've opened up to pray anything is over my family. My personality is one to plan and seek comfort in how things should go. I've always had certain thoughts about how "I" would build my family and how everything will go for my kids. This book challenged me to pray anything for my family and let God do anything with us to build a family and how our path will go together.

So when I surprisingly found out I was pregnant with #2 I surrendered to God's beautiful plan in building our family. Pregnancy always draws me so close to God, to trust Him with all He desires for this child. I will enjoy all the days He gives to let me be a momma to my children. I have to hold them loosely and him tightly or I'll lose my mind with fear for them.

We are full of thankful hearts to welcome another to our family. These little souls are so precious to me and I pray, pray, pray they follow Jesus with all their hearts! Their dad and I look forward to so many fun family moments together and are so excited for another baby!!!

I'm so blessed to be this boy's momma! It's really a lot of fun!

Last weekend we got to play w nana and papa and it was awesome!!!

Trip to the pumpkin patch. He loves the little pumpkin!
