A morning of Panera and lovely people...

Jordan and I are spending the morning at Panera right now and it's lovely! We have done all we can to get out and enjoy this beautiful weather! We came and got our favorite Hazelnut coffee and split and Egg and Cheese Sandwich, we are working on being healthy!

While here we also ran into our friend Paige Cox who lives in India and we invite you all to pray for her while she is home for a short time before she goes back. Exciting news is that there are now more Indians involved in D-Group in Hydrabad than there are people on the American team that are working over there!!!!! That's AMAZING! Pray for this country and for Indians to see the truth of God.

We also ran into Haley, who I met with this semester, and her friend Courtney who are off to Kaleo. Such a fun summer ahead for these two women, I'm so excited for them and all that they are going to be able to learn about our God! Such a great way to start this beautiful day!
AND YEAH KRIS ALLEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was freaking out, jumping up and down-so excited for this guy and his opportunities ahead. Blessings and protection to him and his family through this exciting time in their lives! Kris will be on Regis and Kelly next Tues!

Cruisin with the Family

Jordan and I were blessed to be able to take a cruise with my parents and the Bramlett family to celebrate my graduation with my master's degree. It was suppose to be a 5 day trip to Mexico and got changed to a 7 day cruise to the BAHAMAS!!! We got to stop at Key West, Nassau, and Freeport. We had a blast filling our bellies and singing Karoke most nights.

In Key West we walked up and down the lovely little streets of Key West. Mom and I went in to Ernest Hemingway's house, which was neat to see. We also got each other a coach purse at the outlet, it's a tradition we started last year at the outlet in Gulf Shores.

In Nassau, we went to the Atlantis for the day and walked around the beautiful aquarium and spent the afternoon on the beach. This was great and we had so much fun!

In Freeport, we went to Xanadu beach which had us and about 4 other people and it was GREAT and PEACEFUL!!! Cruise ships are great, but man there is no peace on those things, it's crazy fun all the time. We got chairs and just relaxed in the gorgeous weather.

Overall, I loved our trip and we had a great time with my family. It was Jordan's first trip with my family and it went great! I have few photos because my camera messed up, but here are some of Freeport and my graduation ceremony on the boat given by Dr. Ron Bramlett with introductions by Joe Pruett, it so funny and memorable!!!

Luke is off to Africa

I write this blog to ask you all to pray for my brother and a team from his church that will be leaving tomorrow to go to Kenya to share the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ! Jordan and I are so excited for this trip and the majesty of Christ working through Luke to share the gospel, it's SO exciting!!! It's exciting that people will know Christ and possible except Him due to this provision of this team's obedience to go and serve Him. It's exciting to watch Luke grow up to be a man that is obedient to God's calling and has a desire to tell God's truths so others may live in ETERNITY with him. I have two dear friends going on this trip, Megan and Garrett, and ask that you pray for protection over their marriage, and for the team's safety, Africans open ears and hearts, against sickness of team members and for fearless spirits! We are proud to call Luke our brother and to share in this mission as followers of Christ with him. I ask you to join us in praying for this team till June 2nd when they return. Blessings to each of you, love Jordan and Amber!

GO KRIS...and a night at Eureka Springs!!!!

Jordan and I have had such a blessed week of rest, friendship, and hangout time. We both have been off this week and had time to spend together and with others. Tuesday Jordan and I ran errands and he gave me my graduation present, which is to a show in St.Louis at the end of this month. I love shows and am SO excited!!!!

Tonight we spent the evening with our sweet friends, the Gaddys, in Eureka Springs at a WONDERFUL dinner place called Ermilio's-I'd completely suggest this! We ate a great dinner and walked around to the Cresent Hotel. We spent the sunset on top of the hotel. We all have so much fun together, it was a great night!

We also found out that KRIS MADE IT!!!!! I'm so proud of him, not just because he is from my hometown, but for how he is representing Christ to the Nation! We pray for huge things to shake the Heavens through his ministry and boldness to humble himself to man and know who his King is. I'm so excited for him and his wife on this great journey they are on!!!

Well, we are off tomorrow to head to Little Rock to spend the evening with Pat for Mother's Day and then on a cruise for the next week with the Pruett clan. Photos to come. Hope you all get to celebrate Mother's Day like we do. We are so grateful for the mothers we have and all that they have done to make us who we are and how much they have sacrificed our whole lives to give us all they can and continually love. We LOVE OUR MOMS!!!!
Here is Ermelio's....
Amy and me at the cresent, we look a lot alike, huh?

What a Wet Wonderful Weekend!

The few days have been full of all kinds of goodness, here's a summary...
-Jordan finished his last day at work so that he can focus on school and finish this summer.
-We found the CUTEST town home to live in next year. We are so excited! It offers a bit more room for us and all of our lovely company..photos to come when we move-end of June.
-I had my last day to work as a student and am now NO longer a student but a Speech Pathologist.
-It rained like crazy all weekend for the LSU baseball series.
-Lynn and Logan stayed with us this weekend and we had such a good time with their company.
-My mom and dad came up on Sat for the day, it was great! Mom and I got to shop and dad got to go to the game.
-Lastly, my dear friend Emily and her mom joined us for the game and we just got to chat for like 4 hours, we don't ever get time to do this and I LOVED every minute of it!

We had such a wonderful weekend and now Jordan is studying for his last final tomorrow. This week is nice because we both will be off and get to spend time together along with family. We are off to Little Rock on Thursday to celebrate Mother's Day with Pat and then Friday we leave to go on our CRUISE!!!!

Happy May everyone, love you-Jordan and Amber
