Lake and family weekend!

This weekend we got to go down to Little Rock and spend time with Logan, Kendyl, Pops and Gramma! We had Butcher Shop Friday night for supper. Spent the day at the lake Sat. Till copper got sick, poor guy. Then enjoyed two full days by the pool, wonderful!!

This weekend he learned to push himself up from sitting to standing with no help. He learned to sit in a chair unassisted. He learned to take his golf club and hit the ball not just bang the club It's crazy how fast he is learning!

We had a great long weekend. Heading home for a nice week in NWA :)

10 months old

Well while at the beach Cooper turned 10 months and it amazes me at how each month seems to get faster and with so many new tricks by this guy. He is constantly learning something new and its awesome!

-the biggest thing is that he is walking! crazy!!!
-he can do the rings, simple puzzles, and match blocks to shapes in the bucket
-he will grab my hand to do something if he needs help
-dada, and nana are said often
-we are switching to size 4 diapers, 12-18 mos. clothes, 4 nursings and 3 meals and solid foods at times to practice.
-he is very curious and always likes to check things out real good before doing something
-loves, loves, loves a bath
-similar routine now
-incisors are in
-likes being outside and plays well in the grass now, enjoys the splash mat we have outside

Life is wonderful with this little guy and I'm so thankful to be his mom. I really love it. I enjoy it too, more than I ever thought. He truly is our greatest blessing and I'm thankful to our God for allowing us to be his parents. It's great!

Last night we had a wonderful date night at lake Fayetteville and dinner. This weekend we get to spend time with Pops, Gramma, KK and Logan and are so excited!

Our Beach Trip

We spent a week at the beach with my parents and had a great time. It was Cooper's 1st beach experience and he did pretty well. He enjoyed the sand and the pool, but did not care for the ocean one bit! We tried so hard to take cute photos by the ocean and it's just him crying and yelling :( We cooked fabulous dinners and ate out a few times too. Nana and Poppa Joe traded spots to keep Cooper during naps so I could lay on the beach. They were a great help and we had a lot of fun. He started walking right before we went to the beach, but man did he really pick up his speed while there. It's like chasing a rabbit everywhere!

I'm so thankful my family went on this trip and that Jordan got to join us for some of it. It was wonderful to get away and spend time together. The beach was gorgeous and not hot at all!

Life

We stay crazy busy and I'm lovin it! I'm thankful for this season and am learning so much.

I'm seeing God with a realness I've never experienced. I've had some heartache lately that rocks my core and makes me fall only to my knees for comfort. I've grown a lot to live life in the moment and be grateful for where God has me. I ache for so many friends right now, yet also rejoice with so many! Crazy our hearts can do both. God loves us so much! So much!!!! I love being His daughter and am thankful for my home in Heaven!!!!

We are off to enjoy some beach time with my family and I couldn't need this more! Thankful!

Trip to C-Town

Cooper and I left Thursday morning for Conway. We got there for lunch with mom and uncle Luke. That evening I had ZaZa's with Em, Jill and Meg-such a treat!!!

Friday we popped to little rock to shop and grabbed lunch at Cheers with gramma too. He did great shopping with me and Nana. On our way back in town Cooper got to see his "aunties" Jill and Em!!!

Sat. Megan, Erin and I took over Stoby's for breakfast w the babies. Cooper was starting to show his "nap time" personality which was not so pretty in little stobys. :) mom and I shopped some more and then relaxed at home. Cooper's weekend ended with lots of golf cart rides w Poppa Joe and baby steps on his own, so fun!!!
