Waiting on Brooks!!

As of last Wednesday I was 3 cm dilated and 70% effaced. So this weekend we have played and played as we wait for him to join our family!

Friday night Chick-fil-a family dinner at home

Sat we went to Rick's for doughnuts and then to Target

So excited about eating a "noughnut" as Cooper calls them

He played ALL day with his Tractor Tipping set.

We went to Sat. Night church-which I love doing and then to Venetian Inn. It's a myth of sorts around here to eat there and it will start labor-hasn't worked.

Today we played outside all morning and then went to Crystal Bridges to see the Norman Rockwell exhibit. We ate at Crepes Paulette-yum! Walked to the museum trying to get Brooks out! Cooper did so good during the exhibit for us to enjoy it!

Now we are enjoying Downton Abbey and playing with Coop after nap time. Back to the doctor tomorrow-just waiting at this point :)

Family weekend!!!

This past weekend was filled with family fun and oh how this does my heart good! Friday night my sweet friends gathered at Mojitos to celebrate Brooks-I can't get enough girl time these days and this was wonderful!!

These 2 I have know for years and loved having them there! We had such a fun play date earlier in the day :)

Sat. We woke up and got doughnuts-my favorite pregnant splurge :) and then went to the farmers market and to Razorfest. Cooper is in love with the hogs and had a blast!

That afternoon we went to Rogers to a couple stores, had ice cream and went to Sat night church which was wonderful! Cooper had a blast and we really enjoyed the service.

Sunday was a low key day! We did get a sweet visit from our friend Blake and Amanda Brewer which was wonderful-we miss them so much!

Busy work week and dr appt tomorrow. Looking forward to another fun weekend, enjoying the nice weather we should have and spending time with my family. I love it and don't take an ounce of it for granted!

Fun pics from work of Coop:

Got caught making a mess:

Loving bubbles right now:

And he sleeps

This is for me, but this baby has been falling asleep in some funny places!!! He plays so hard and crashes hard :)

Like an old man needing to read himself to sleep...

He is doing well in his big boy bed and I'm so thankful for that. He really enjoys his room and all the fun toys. Cars, the train table, books, all balls and being outside are his favorites.

Cooper

My life is filled with so much joy over this little man. He is really funny, outspoken, creative, strong, rotten and learning lots everyday. I'm so thankful to be his momma and watch him grow. I can't believe he is about to be a big brother and what a good one he will be! I'm so excited to watch these two boys together ;) just some fun cooper pics...
This to some people is a reason to call DHS, but to Cooper he loves it! It allows him freedom for his independent spirit and allows us to help train him on safety when we go for walks!

His buddy Jack from work. These two are so funny together!

I love his grin here

Trying out our new stroller that he is crazy about! I love this thing and all the options it gives me. Cooper really enjoys going for walks in it :)

Testing out little brothers seat

And we are also full of tantrums, "my", and fussing to get our way.

Letting his cars have a ride in the swing

Cooper is 21 mos old and I'm officially 38 wks pregnant-so soon till Brooks gets here and I just can't wait to meet him!

Weekend Catch Up :)

This past weekend was filled with so much! After a fun week with KK and Gramma, Cooper and I went to Conway and Jordan went to Kansas City with his guy friends from college. We both had great weekends!

I was able to get some baby stuff to get us started and see great friends!

Playing at Nana and joe joe's

Playing with Brody, Shad and Beckett

Emily's baby shower for Truett was Sunday an it was so fun to see her!

And probably one of the most special roles ill get to take on is being a bridesmaid in my brother and Brooklyn's wedding in November!!! Jordan and I are both in the wedding and Coop is a ring bearer. We couldn't be more thrilled to support them on this day and for the rest of their lives! She gave us cookies and this sweet poem :)

And people have mixed emotions about "the leash" but this child loves his backpack and going on walks :)
