Christmas Day 2010

We wake up Christmas morning and open gifts in rotation in our jammies. Here are the gifts under the tree for a short moment before we split them into each person's pile. Mom couldn't put any gifts under the tree because Disney kept opening them :)

Me making my morning "coffee" Hot Chocolate!
My mom started me a new dish set that matches my Vietri set, it's lovely and the guy who made it signed it.

Every year we play the "pickle" game. This game is where mom and dad hide the pickle on the tree and whoever finds it gets an extra gift and I FOUND IT! 1st year ever!!!
Mom's gorgeous table for Christmas dinner

We had a great time with both of our families over the holidays! We are such a lucky couple to have two great families to share life with. Our Wright family went to NYC to visit Kendyl and are still there due to the snow storm. I'm off the next few days and enjoying slowing down a bit. :)

Christmas Eve 2010

We went down to Conway the morning of Christmas Eve to spend the weekend with our Pruett family. That afternoon we relaxed before we headed to my favorite event, Christmas Eve Service, and then back to my parents for all our favorite finger foods!

WE wish you a Merry Christmas!

And this WE includes our sweet little one to join our family on July 8th, 2011. Today we had a doctor's appt. and got to hear a strong, constant, beautiful heartbeat. This sound plays over and over in my head as the most lovely, soothing sound in the world! I'm so thankful and just continue to pray God's hand over this child.

I found out Nov. 2nd, election day. I took a test and saw two lines and was like, "oh my gosh they work!", then I ran to Wal-Mart and bought 3 more and all positive :) That evening told Jordan this way...

He was shocked then turned extremely happy. He really is going to be such a loving, fun, teaching, strong father for this little person!

Then that weekend we told the GRANDparents...

"baby"ruth, "grandma's" cookies, and tootsie roll "pop" with a sign that read, "you will be the sweetest grandparents"

My mom originally thought the gift was from Mello, the granddog and then figured it out and freaked out!

The Wright clan took a little longer to catch on to our "secret" and then was shocked followed by tears and joy!

I sent a crew of my dear friends a little picture post card like so..

We had the best time telling our community group, I told Meg with a bottle of Prego Spaghetti sauce, Beard at dinner at Panera, and I told Marietta in the airport on our way to "see Ali" in DC, and have enjoyed every moment of being able to share this fun news.

I haven't been sick at all, praise the Lord, I'm crazy tired but will live the rest of my life tired so it's good practice. It's a season of learning to trust God on a new level and letting go already of this child to His care. We expect to be pruned, molded and changed by this new path in our lives.
