Jen Hatmaker weekend

Last weekend I went down to Conway and got to spend time with my parents. It was a relaxing trip and also filled with so much fun. A group of girls met and went to listen to Jen Hatmaker in little rock and what she had to say seems so simple, yet so life changing...love your neighbor.

I finally fixed the blog all on my phone so maybe I'll be a bit better at keeping up now. Here are some photos from last weekend. Also Brooks turned 9 mos, but yet again he's shortly about to turn 10. Hoping I can get his 1st birthday party in May, haha!!!

Today we got to play superheroes with Garrison and have some fun at home-such a treat!

Brooks is 8 months! (I've completely forgotten 7 and he is actually almost 9)!!!

Brooks will actually be 9 mod in just a few days, but I haven't posted these and I have no idea what I did with 7 months-oh well!

These two play all the time together and it's such a joy to watch. Brooks is now crawling, pushing to sit, pulling up to stand, and cruising around things. We just lowered his bed and gave him a pillow and blanket. Both of the boys have been sick this past week with yucky colds. Today, I'm home and loving every minute of it!

I put Coop in the bath almost daily to wear him out!!! I need the summer time!
Bedtime snuggles with dad. This man is so good to these boys and we missed him when he was gone last week. Thankful for my little army of men here!

Happy Monday and Happy Feb!

Pruett Family Christmas

Christmas with our Pruett family was the weekend after because Luke and Brooklyn were on their honeymoon the weekend before. We had so much fun celebrating with our new family members this year!!! We opened gifts, had a beautiful lunch, and then took Cooper to see Frozen.

I can't believe how blessed we are to have such wonderful family for our boys, that's really the best gift we have!

Jordan and I had a New Year's Eve dinner at Bordinos and then went skiing with lots of our friends. Sadly, after that we have said goodbye to two of our family members: Papa Harvey-Pat's dad, and my Uncle Alvin. This week is already starting off odd with our snow day and continues this really unpredictable season we are in. Here's to 2014 and finding blessings the ride no matter what comes our way!

(I've gotten really bad at taking photos with my phone and then I just upload them to shutter fly and not my computer so I miss out on a lot for my blog-going to work on that!)

Brooks's 1st Christmas!!

The weekend before Christmas we got to spend with Jordan's family and had so much fun!!

Christmas Eve we stayed at home and went to Fellowship and had such a wonderful service. I loved that they gave the kids glow sticks and it was just a wild and crazy night! We came home and had a yummy dinner and made cupcakes for Jesus' birthday party (as coop kept saying). Christmas morning we opened gifts at our house and then decided to go and surprise our families. We 1st went to Judsonia and surprised Jordan's grandparents and his parents. Then we went to Conway and surprised my parents. The boys and I stayed in Conway and we had the Pruett family Christmas the following weekend.

Brooks' 1st Santa!!!

This year I was unable to get to the mall to let Brooks see Santa, so I was excited when our Club had a Christmas brunch and Santa came. We went after church one Sunday and had a great breakfast, saw Santa, and got to decorate cookies!

I'm SO behind and because of this snow day I'm able to catch up on Feb. 3rd!
