Happy Birthday Pat!!!!

Today we celebrate our "Wright" mom!!! It is her birthday and we want to wish her the best day and year! This woman loves us all so much and works so hard at listening to us, teaching us, and keeping track with all the different directions we are going! She has a large heart to serve, give and love others. She is an amazing woman, with wonderful strength and devotion to give her all to her family! We love you so much and are so thankful to have you in our lives. We look forward to all the love and lessons of life you will get to teach Cooper!

Her sweet, thoughful gift for Cooper, she is going to be so good to him!

What a Happy DAY!!!!

Today, Jordan and I start off by saying
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to our wonderful dad's in our lives. We both are so blessed by your constant love and support in every season of life we go through. We each have learned so much from these men that allows us to give more to eachother and to our family. We are so humbled to have such amazing examples of Christ's constant love for us through these men who love us unconditionally! They both have wisdom, strength and love that never ceases to stop and we are so grateful for all you do for us! We are so excited for this new stage of life and all that they will pour into our son!

We would also like to say
HAPPY 29TH ANNIVERSARY to my parents!
They got to get away at the beach for the past few days and their kids are so proud of them. My parents both come from homes were their parents were divorced and to be able to have no good example of marriage, have been able to create the most loving, selfless, and respectful marriage I've ever seen! They have been excellent examples for us and we praise God for protection over their marriage and are so excited to celebrate this day with them! Thank you for years of hard work and love to be committed to one another and to love like Christ loves the Church!

And lastly, I'd like to celebrate:
HAPPY FATHER TO BE DAY! :)
With just a few weeks away from our due date, I can't help but celebrate my dear husband. I'm beyond humbled at this man's leadership and love for our family and am so excited for Cooper to learn from him. Jordan has more love, respect, devotion, and passion for God, family, friends, and life than I've ever known and I hope Cooper can grasp this in his personality. I'm excited to watch him love on Cooper, play with him, teach him and lead him towards God in constant prayer. I'm thankful that I get to walk through this season of being parents with such an amazing man by my side!

As you can tell, we celebrate a lot today that we say thank you Lord for all these blessings and such a great family you have given us!

New Curtains!

So, when I found out I was pregnant I began to think of all the little house projects I would like to get done before this little baby comes and all my time and money goes to them :) I had my list and one thing on there was curtains. This is so hard for me: what style, which windows, what fabric, where to get them made or where to buy them...lots and lots of research and time to sort this out. But finally, I received my last two sets, and my wonderful husband worked hard to hang them for me.  Now, I am finished with my little list of house projects, just in time for Cooper to come!

This weekend we have been taking it easy! We went to a movie last night and my ankles got sooo HUGE! No more movies for me. Today Jordan played golf, I rested, visited with Marietta and Kent and watched the US Open. Great relaxing Sat. !!!

Cooper's Nursery Table

I had a dear friend, Pam Nolen, re-paint a table for me for the nursery and it turned out wonderful!!! I got to go pick it up yesterday and I'm just so excited at how perfect it turned out. His sweet little nursery is all complete now :)

Church Baby Shower

This past Sunday my parents' church hosted a baby shower for me and it was wonderful! I had such a great time and it was fun to visit with women who have truly seen me grow up and now celebrate Cooper with me. I'm humbled by their generosity and love for our family.
The wonderful hostesses:

Nana, me and Cooper :)

Along with a wonderful baby shower we got to spend time with both of our families which is so special to us! Probably the last time they will see me without Cooper in my arms, such a fun thought!

Uncle Luke:

Poppa Joe:

And our wonderful Wright family! Kendyl has now moved back to NYC and we miss her so much already! Can't wait for her nephew to meet her!

I've found that after a busy weekend I don't recooperate quickly and have spent most of the week tired, but today have felt back to normal and I like it! Less than a month to go till we get to meet him :)
