My sweet little baby is so big! 4 months has come and gone and it has been wonderful.
He weighs 16.04 lbs-75th percentile
Height 27.25 inches-97th percentile
This little one wakes up around 7:30 and nurses every 3 hours-sometimes 4. He has gotten the whole eat, play, sleep thing down on his own account because he use to be awful at that. He crashes at 7:30 and lately I'm getting more nights with no interruptions than I am with nights of having to get up to nurse-it's wonderful!
He wears size 6 month or bigger clothes because of his length. He is in size 2 diapers. Takes a bottle just fine and is fighting me to be a thumb sucker!! I literally have to take that little monkey lovie and wrap it around his hand and hope it doesn't get out! A speech therapist's nightmare right there. So we will see...
He is the most delightful, happy little fella. He seems to have very few cares in the world and is so laid back. He has started OT to strengthen his upper body. When he was born it's like his neck and arm muscles were tight. We started OT to loosen them and it has worked, now we need to strengthen him up. Not sure why the issues. Maybe positioning in my belly, maybe his length is hard for him to balance, who knows. At the moment I'm praying a ton for his continual growth as he seems to hit milestones and praise God for that.
This month he is now laughing and constantly watching his brother. Cooper is literally the best toy! Brooks laughs at hime and follows him everywhere. We will start eating cereal after our New York trip to see Aunt KK, so I'll post on that later.
I'm so so thankful for this little life in our family. I'm thankful for the new dynamic he adds to us and the fun it is to be his momma. He challenges me daily to continue to serve and give my whole self to my boys, but I'm thankful to be in this place, at this moment and loving with all I have in me.
