My Dad's 50th Party!!!

Last weekend we got to spend time celebrating my dad turning 50! It was so much fun and everything went perfect. Friday we went down after Jordan got off and started off a fun filled event to honor my dad. He had so much fun and it was so special to make this man the center of attention for an evening. He has lived his whole life being selfless and making others feel loved that it was wonderful to have family and friends show that back to him. I'm so proud of my dad and love watching him be a grandpa-it's so cute and he has so much fun too! here are just some photos from his party!

This weekend was spent with our Wright family and did my boys have fun! Cooper was spoiled with all kinds of activities and I'm sure Brooks had more love than he could ask for. I was able to slip away and go celebrate my bestie Jill at her bachlorette party. She is such a dear friend and it was so fun being with life long friends-I couldn't have asked for a better weekend!

I love seeing Brooks light up when he watches Cooper. Our new favorite activity is all 3 setting down and reading a book. Cooper actually listens to the whole book and Brooks just "talks" through the whole thing-its so sweet!

Baby Brooks is 3 months!!

My sweet little one is 3 months and it has all gone way to fast. My heart explodes with love for this little guy. He is 14lbs and just a big, long guy. He wears size 2 diapers, 3-6 month clothes, eats every 3-4 hours during the day and at night "typically" goes 8-5.

He has increased his "talking" and watching his big brother-which is the cutest thing ever!!!

I have had some concerns about this little guy and am prayerfully taken them to The Lord to protect his development and help us know how to help Brooks.

Brooks loves to read, dance and sing with us. Our home is always a party! He doesn't take a passy, he doesn't mind his car seat, and he is the most chill baby ever.

We have a fun, busy August ahead and are so happy to be doing it with these little guys too!

PS-do all second children get the "baby" in their names. I really think cooper thinks that's his name :)

Brooks' Baby Dedication

Proverbs 3:3-4

3Let love and faithfulness never leave you;

Today was a sweet day for our family as we dedicated Brooks to the Lord and promised to our Father to do all we can through prayer, love, teaching and faith to show him Christ. Fun day with family and our dear community group to pray for this little boy-that means so much to me.

 Our afternoon was spent with Nana and Joe Joe before they headed home. Then as a family of 4 we went to the "bolf" course or GOLF course :) such a fun evening!

POTTY TRAINING!!!

well our life has gotten more complicated with a potty training kid. he was so ready for this transition, but man it takes a lot more words out of my mouth and energy that's for sure. the idea of being "potty trained" is a little slanted. he is more like 60-40 potty trained since he wears pull-ups at naps and at bedtime. Today was a successful no accident completely. I'll take small victories and just hope for the best tomorrow. He's a big boy and loves wearing the assortment of disney characters on his hiney :)

 sunday, KK flew home from up here so we got to spend all afternoon with her. she is so good at loving our boys!
