And now, a calm weekend

Jordan and I have no many weekends where we feel we are going here and there all the time. We are able to spend this weekend in Fayetteville and take it slower and it's so nice. Our marriage has experienced little time together due to school and work, which seem to direct most of our days and energy. We miss time together and have to fight for it. Last night we spent time with our dear friends Stephen and Sarah Billings. They are moving to Lawrence, KS to start Student Mobilization up at this campus. We will miss them so much! Today I'm going to swing by Starbucks, grab 2 coffees and go help her pack. Jordan is working and then we are having a date night! I'm so excited to have this evening with him! Tomorrow he is off work and we get to go to church together with no rush of work and then spend the afternoon together! Tomorrow evening we to talk about going to India. This has a become a more recent issue of our hearts and we are praying for direction with God's prompting of our hearts to share the gospel with this country. We ask that you will pray for discernment and God's guidance in our path right now. We love you all and pray blessings upon you! 

The Horse Races!

As part of Jordan's weekend we went to the horse races. We won NOTHING, but had a blast! We went with our friends: The McClures, The Swanns, and Ali and Rich. We had so much fun all hanging out. Megan was so sweet and got Jordan a delicious birthday cake from Ed's Bakery in Conway. We gave him candles and all sang to him that evening at the condo we stayed in. I'm glad we all got to take the time to spend with each other.

Jordan's Birthday!!!!

Jordan's 23rd Birthday was last Friday, March 20th and we had a fun filled weekend to celebrate! Thursday night I took him to Mellow Mushroom for his birthday dinner from me! He then woke up to a bday french toast and a couch fit for a king (ESPN was already on and ESPN.com was already open on the computer)! We then we to Little Rock to celebrate with his family. We went to Bonefish grilled and then went back to their house for ColdStone Ice Cream cake, yummy! Jordan loved this cake and time with his family. We had a blast and it was refreshing to see them and spend time together. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JORDAN! 

A Taste of India

A few weeks ago Jordan and I ate at a newer Indian restaurant in Rogers. It was so good and tasted just like what we had in India. We miss India a lot and hope to go back some day, by God's leading. Our hearts hurt for a nation that is so lost and whose eyes are covered by the devil's schemes of fake God's. I ask you to pray for this nation, just some time this week of for this whole week, add this country to your prayers. I encourage anyone who hasn't seen Slumdog Millionaire to take the time to do this and see a glimpse of the world in India.

Peters' Wedding!!!

One of my best friends, Stephanie Beard, got married this past weekend to a wonderful man, Garrett Peters. I went down to Conway last Thursday to start the festivities with her bachlorette party, which was a blast! We had the luncheon and rehearsal dinner on Friday. The rehearsal dinner was a Barn Dance and lots of fun. I'm a huge fan of "themed" rehearsal dinners! The wedding day went smoothly and everything was absolutely beautiful. The wedding was lovely and truly portrayed their love for God and His working in their lives to this point. I'm proud to have been able to stand next to this couple on their wedding day. Agora, where the reception was, looked amazing. You entered an enchanted white tent with gorgeous flowers and a great band. It was so much fun dancing and talking to people I haven't seen in a long time. 

Jordan was unable to come for this event, which made me sad, but that is the way of the working world. He got to spend lots of time with some of his close friends in Fayetteville so that was good. 

I'm now back home and we have been taking advantage of this warm weather with bike rides, our new hobby as a couple, and we LOVE it! I didn't feel good at all today and have had a day of resting and medication to get back to my busy life up here. I'm ashamed to say I don't have any photos on my camera from the wedding because I forgot it, but as soon as I get some from others I'll post them.
